  1. Yeah me too! Except not 53.2...more like 12. And not try number 5....more like number 105.
  2. FINALLY! But wait...what if they use the cloaking device too? sh--...
  3. Absolutley. I liked his quote about what it would be like to have Randy Moss or Chad Johnson. Maybe he could have Tomlinson and Shaun Alexander too. We could also throw in TO, Steve Smith and Torry Holt. Also, he should call the Colts and see if they are interested in swapping him and Manning...you know "just for a week."
  4. Bingo. Being 5'9 and fast is not the main reason why Steve Smith is a great WR.
  5. Yeah I know. I thought about him, FAvre and McNabb and such, but Young was exceedingly intelligent and accurate. Having mobility is obviously not going to make one fail in the WC, it just isn't really all that important. Drew Bledsoe and Mike Vick can probably drop back 3 steps in about the same amount of time.
  6. Ray Ray is not going to make it to the 4th round.
  7. Vick sucks, but I have to (sigh) agree with Dawgg...at least in part. The west coast offense is the absolute worst offense he could ever be in. That offense was designed for smart, accurate QBs with little or no running ability. Vick is the exact opposite of that.
  8. Never said I was. And there aren't a lot of ways he should be compared to Thurman Thomas except for that he has had some success early on in his career. I give him credit for putting up good numbers on 3 teams that ranked from average to sh-------. But beyond that, he is no Thurman Thomas. He will never be the same type of player. Plus unless this team starts going to Super Bowls regularly, then Thurman will always be remembered more fondly due to the team's success. Willis is very good and could become great. We'll just have to see.
  9. I have no idea how hard Willis plays (no one here does), but basing an assumption either way on quotes and sound bytes is ridiculous. Our boy Thurman "MJ" Thomas didn't exactly quote Shakespeare all the time...
  10. What? No we gave Dave Moore #83 when we got him in 2002. Two years after we unceremoniously discarded Andre.
  11. Dave Moore and his two illustrious years with us...
  12. she got underwear with dickholes in it.. HATE HATE HATE HATE
  13. Too much muscle? Hingis? THIS is too much muscle...
  14. 12 34 78 83 That's all I expected...future Hall of Famers Not too much to ask to honor a player who retired #2 in receptions and #4 in yards All-time and more than 6 years later is still in the top 6 in both. But no, lets give Dave Moore his number two years after we kick him to the curb.
  15. Kinda sad that I'm not truly attached to any one player. I have a Willis throwback and that's probably all I could see having for awhile. Maybe Whitner I couldn't do Evans, because I loved Andre too much and I think its a disgrace that they didn't retire his number.
  16. When I feel depressed about the Bills, I think of this Sweet memories...
  17. I actually haven't seen Pitt play a full game since we railed them in the opener last year. I actually agree with you, I can't picture Wanny winning anything important or significant. Rutgers was impressive last week and/or Navy is not as good as I thought. Probably both, but more credit to Rutgers.
  18. ..as voted by 350+ NFL players. Nice to know that somethings are consistent. Second time in 3 years...(sadly an injury in 2005 probably prevented his illustrious 3-peat). And he still doesn't believe it.... Sir Rodney
  19. He was a RB, not a FB. He got the majority of his carries in 2000 when we just couldn't decide between Antowain, Bryson, Linton and him. Funny about the fumble stats, because I remember him having a big problem as well. Maybe he just fumbled in key situations...who knows. But I know it was an issue. He always ran hard though and I was sad to see him go. He was suspended the first four weeks this year for banned substance.
  20. Since I got kind of cluttered in my BCS thread, I give you Week 1 of the TRUE BCS (Bart's College Standings): 1. Ohio St. 2. Michigan 3. USC 4. Tennessee 5. Florida 6. WVU 7. Louisville 8. Auburn 9. ND 10. Texas (Honorable mentions: LSU, Cal, G-Tech)
  21. No talk about the latest debut of the most universally disliked ranking system in sports? Well, I'll start it off: Link: BCS - Week 1 Top 10 Ohio St. USC Michigan Auburn WVU Florida Louisville ND Texas Cal I think Michigan and USC should switch (sorry Smokin...). I'm probably biased from that mark I still have from Michigan's pounding of ND in our stadium, but I stand by it. I trust the more veteran team, and they have done nothing to show that anyone not named Ohio St. is better than them. I don't buy Auburn at 4. I think they are the #4 team in their own conference (weaker than Florida, Tennessee and maybe LSU). They had a close call vs. So Carolina and were exposed v. Arkansas. I love their win last week, but I think it was more that Florida was due for a let down. I'd shift everyone after here down one spot and put in Tennessee. Only loss is to Florida by 1...laid 51 points on the Bulldogs AT Georgia. I think WVU is weaker than most think, but until they lose I won't beef. I would love to see UL take them down. Speaking of Louisville, I won't beef with them either, but I can't imagine them escaping this season unbeaten. Brohm is sick, but Bush was a big part of that team. ND is fine where they are with Texas breathing down their neck. Haven't seen Cal enough to make an opinion except that Tennessee beat them by 17 in Week 1.
  22. I'd bet this is your reason: Empty Place
