  1. I'm a simple man...this would do just fine. Make it happen Scarlett! (speakers on).
  2. Never knew about that. Scapegoating ST coaches never quite works out...
  3. Yeah the Rams game...just sick. Still have no idea how he stayed in bounds. Lee just shoved some dude from behind at the 10 yard line right when Willis was about to cross the goal line. But, I've forgiven him...
  4. I only remember that play because Willis hurdled some dude while jumping out of bounds, but somehow landed back in bounds. 2004 was my senior year at ND so all I ever saw were highlights.
  5. Then won by 15...with 14 points off of KO returns. No doubt they were in control, but Bulger just moved them up and down the field with ease in many drives. They forced plenty of 3 and outs, but allowed Bulger to rip off 350. If STL's defense AND special teams were worth a sht (thanks again for Bobby April ), they would have won this game.
  6. I've noticed some improvement...need to watch him more. Anyway, he has come along way from ruining the best run of Willis' career with the most untimely hold I've ever seen back in 04.
  7. No doubt. I think Brees playing one of his better games could pose too many problems.
  8. It's a good thing Devin Hester is out of this world sick at returning kicks because the Rams are basically walking up and down the field on Da Bears. Take away DH's two returns and this is a pretty tight game....if Chicago doesn't fix this before January, I see a New Orleans v. Baltimore date in Cuba Norte.
  9. Holy sht! Picked up the deuce... Dante Who?
  10. I'll give it a shot: Reasons 1-1,000,000: Because we've been a sorry franchise for the better part of 10 years and an overall losing franchise with the exception of a few amazing teams in the mid 60s and a dominant run in the late 80s-early 90s.* Additionally, there was some backlash of being "that team" who wouldn't go away during the Super Bowls and the stigma of being the 4-time loser. Seriously, the media loves to get behind the "underdog" and a small-market team rich with football history is just that kind of thing. When Flutie started rallying us, you couldn't get our name out of the newspapers. Once this team starts winning again, the media will jump right in line behind us. *I apologize to Bills' fans older and wiser than me if I missed some other years of great success.
  11. Haven't gotten the tickets yet...I'll let you know for sure when we figure it all out. We are staying at that Hotel St. Marie though...seemed pretty sweet. Balcony rooms, 1/2 block from Bourbon street (though I hear it's a long fcking street and you don't want to be at the wrong end so hopefully we are near some good action). What's the deal with the bars? I've heard there aren't really official closing times and open container laws aren't really in effect....are these just hopeful rumors?
  12. Stop clogging the board with this sht! - Good for you man...wish I was going!
  13. Wow...you've managed to avoid hearing any reference to that Dave Chappelle skit? Good for you man...seriously. I actually wish I had forgotten about it by now. Oh okay...not a big deal. But old habits die hard I guess...
  14. Slap? Like open-hand Rick James Charlie Murphy slap?
  15. I sucked it up and put together a little trip to N'awlins with my boys to hit up a little New Years/Sugar Bowl combo. Always wanted to see the city...should be chaos. I know Cajun will be there too... Smokin, you heading back west? Blue, I don't even know where Texas is playing. Ed, I'm sure you are following the #1c team in the country to their bowl game. They should lay a hurtin on K-State. I'll definitely be laying some bills on that one. Faustus...hittin up the big show? Ramius...uh, FSU make one? Or will there just be an intersquad scrimmage at the "We finally got rid of that dead weight son of our possibly becoming senile coach" bowl? Rich, Lori, Dev....PSU? Michigan @ssholes (and I mean that in the nicest way ), you heading out to see if your boys are pissed enough to bang up the Trojans?
  16. Dude, didn't you start a week 14 betting thread and then two days later when no one responded, you started an exact replica? I wish you had been around here 2 years ago to kick your ass...
  17. Would love Eric Johnson TE, San Fran....no way SF keeps him with VD ready to bust out. He was an extremely prolific receiver before his injuries and he can still play now that he has had another chance.
  18. Joey ain't that good, but I'd love to hear about this good tandem of WRs during his time in Detroit. I'd much rather be facing Culpepper on Sunday...healthy or not.
  19. Are you serious? A 7-second plea to vote him and McGee into the probowl = Fletcher worrying about it? As if he is somehow distracted by this fact and if he doesn't say anything publicly it will all be better...As if wanting to be voted to the probowl and giving 100% to the team are mutually exclusive... Is this the length of leash we give our players? Dude plays his heart out all season and this is what you criticize him for?
  20. I feel an obligation to post this during every Miami week. Sweet Memories
  21. 1. Still getting used to the ultra-conservative philosophy. I wouldn't mind letting Lindell get a shot a 50+ yarder once in a while. I think punting every time we are in the 33-40 yard line is cheating us out of some points. But I like Jauron and he sure seems to have a great vibe going through the team. 2. LOVE Schobel...LOVE HIM. Forget about the two garbage sacks he picked up...it was the constant pressure. There have been at least 10 plays this year where he has gotten to the QB a bit too late but has either forced him into a bad throw, made him change his angel or hit his arm. He is a great DE. Period. 3. McGahee looked great. I am frustrated by his up and down performances, but with a good line to run behind, you can't be unhappy with the results. His extra efforts today were HUGE. 4. Clements played great...the INT was really a right place, right time situation, but his big hits and blanket coverage were intense. I'm glad to see that he has remembered he is playing for $50 million. 5. That pass was suspect. Reed should have pulled it in, but so be it. I can't think of the last time he dropped as pass. He has been our most sure handed WR this year. It's amazing how many great #3 WRs are on this team. I'll add a few: A. Hargrove may be my favorite player...every week I like him more. Soon I will expect him to start making more plays, but for right now, I love his hustle, enthusiasm and overall zest for being a Buffalo Bill. B. Kelsay's backfield tackle on Houston was real sweet. C. Peerless has made some great grabs this season. Including the one that was botched today and strangely not challenged. D. Lee's double move was disgusting....just absolutely dirty. E. The lack of stupid mistakes kept a smile on my face all game. No mandatory dumbass TO because we can't get the play in. No motion penalty on 3rd and short...it was beautiful man!
  22. Yeah, not gonna cut it... But I'm just playin either way...I didn't see it.
  23. Ouch...I hope someone out there is playing Jones-Drew in fantasy football. Question though, do you bet online? Where in the world did you (a) find Indy at +2 and (b) get an 11 point teaser?
