  1. rrrrrrreally? pray tell, what did he say? I'd love to know but have no TV right now.
  2. I'll take McNally's word over "the draft guy who gave him a 31." JMO....
  3. I'd hope this would be it: -Getting Parish to be a future #3, slot WR. Maybe Reed finally steps up and becomes a #2 (unlikely) for next year. More likely, TD is preparing for the possibility that Moulds will not be back. He is giving Evans one more year to learn to be the man and then next year we have our #1 (LE) and #3 (RP). We get a bigger, possession type WR to be the #2 in draft or FA next year. We would then have 2 speed WRs and 2 possession types (Aiken + FA/draft?) -He is not confident in Campbell/Euhus's recovery/skill. He wants reliable weapons around JP. Everett could be a future star in our offense. -He did not believe a difference maker OL was available in the 2nd or 3rd round. Guys like Baas got snatched up pretty early. He thought it would help JP more to give him more weapons as opposed to a T, G or C that he was not confident could come in and contribute right away. -He likes Shelton and believes he can get him as a 6/1 cut and for cheaper than $3 mill. -Gonna deal Henry for second day/future year draft picks. Or hold on to him until a team needs a RB (whether that be training camp, preseason or week 6). -Will use 2nd day picks to fill in weak depth spots (obviously). -Is not totally counting on EM to return and WILL spend to keep NC here next offseason. (Reason KT was re-signed and no high-pick CB). When I think about that, its not so crazy. I wasn't sure about some of the picks, but he didnt pick them without a plan. TD never just does things on whims, the wheels are always turning (good or bad). Lets see how tomorrow goes. GO BILLS!! Bart side note: Giants fans, you got a fuggin steal in rd. 3. Sorry J.
  4. dry heave or not, I do not think its possible to say that was the wrong choice. He was the best QB in that draft, arguably the best pick in the top 10. And Ricky.....well....theres no need. I do agree that he needs to shake this choking thing though. Its no fluke thing, he tightens up BIG time when it counts.
  5. I went to the one in Philly for my boy's 21st birthday last year. It was HUGE! Great time too. Good for Buffalo.
  6. Agreed. He is hands down the most dominant player since MJ. As a 13 yr vet, he's still the most un-guardable player in the league.
  7. I'd take the Heat over the Pistons. IMO, Detroit is tougher, better coached and obviously plays the best D in the league. Plus they are defending champs and have multiple playoff years of experience. Add that to the fact that Diesel is not 100% (how close, I don't know) and we beat the Heat with him playing and Wade scoring 48 just last week. I know it's a case of picking my poision, but I'd rather not throw down against the defending champs.
  8. I was still holdin out hope that the sixers could catch the Celtics and grap that 3 spot. Or at least maybe the Pacers. Oh well. I'd actually rather fall to the 8th and play the Heat than the Pistons.
  9. Yes i am so whipped that she sent me all that sh--. Life is rough.
  10. Whip??? WHIP?? You crazy? I'm the man! I run this damn ship! I give the orders! I....ahh fug it. Guilty as charged
  11. ....uphill, both ways in snow. Nah I'm just playing. Yeah this will a huge change to my normal diet of frozen lasagna and the occaisonal pizza. I don't know if my body body can handle the shock...
  12. really? broil em eh? I was gonna go for the grill cause we're probably gonna have a nice day on friday and nothing better than being outside with your people drinking brews and grillin out. but i mean, if its as good as you say, i'm very tempted now. by the way, I am talking about charcoal grilling, don't mess with gas...
  13. Nah my parents are doin fine. They have been more than generous. Its me that should be taking better care of my end.
  14. My baby sent me the Beef Lovers Package today. Totally unexpected and out of the blue. Makes me remember what a thoughtful and loving girl she is and how lucky I am that she chose a goofy guy like me. This poor college boy will eat well for the rest of the semester thanks to the love of a true angel. Just thought I'd lamp.
  15. What's funny is once you get past that one crazy guy and his proposal, the rest of the posts are actually very logical and thoughtful. I would not agree with all of them, but the posters are all respectful of each other and, shockingly, true football conversation exists.
  16. Oh believe me, I saw him play and I know what he can and cannot do. The wonderlic score blows my mind. I am simply relating what my boys tell me. They clown him all the time. When they heard he was invited to the combine, they thought it was a joke. Hey maybe Buffalo Bills coaches can turn an underachieving, amazingly athletic Notre Dame player who is rumored to be soft into an NFL quality man? Wait we already tried that...Grant Irons. I'd say no, but I've been wrong before.
  17. I think they are definitely targeting Pac-Man and have been all along. They posture about with regards to taking one of the big 3 RBs, but I truly believe that they are just trying to scare TD into dealing Henry for less than he is worth.
  18. My boys on the team think he is borderline retarded. He is soft and they claim he closes his eyes before contact. I totally agree that he just a sick athlete, but I don't think he has any business in the NFL.
