  1. The league is committed to the highest level of integrity in its officiating and we stand by the game officials version of the incident.
  2. I believe the NFL has an obligation to be as transparent as possible with our fans about all aspects of the league and see this as another step in the right direction.
  3. These are excellent points and highlight the need to interpret results from any such studies very carefully before jumping to conclusions.

While I believe the obstruction of our investigation into under-inflated footballs during last season's AFC Championship game warranted punishment for the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, that incident does not provide any credible evidence of a pattern of subverting NFL rules by the Patriots or any other team.
  5. While the NFL is confident any issue with the sideline communications in last night game between the Steelers and Patriots was a random anomaly, we will look into the matter to confirm that both teams followed correct league procedure.
  6. I am confident the investigation conducted by the NFL uncovered the full extent of the digressions from league rules surrounding the Spygate incident and that appropriate punishment was handed out at that time.

  16. I feel it is my duty to be personally involved to ensure the fairest possible treatment for Tom Brady, the New England Patriots and the league.
  17. The league investigation did not find evidence Coach Belichick had any knowledge of the process of handling footballs prior to the games.
  18. While the NFL takes all investigations very seriously, I think fans would rather see Tom Brady on the field.
