  1. The NFL does not moderate or set policy for independent fan boards. League officials participate in such forums as part of our fan outreach program.
  2. The fans experience is of paramount importance to the NFL and as such we must establish policies that ensure all fans feel welcome and included.
  3. While I am always flattered by the support of fans, I am content knowing my contributions to the game will be in the areas of player safety and expansion of the fan base.
  4. In order to ensure the safest possible timing for fans traveling to and from the game, the NFL has decided to reschedule kickoff so as not to coincide with the predicted timing of the storm.
  5. The NFL always appreciates feedback and ideas from our fans, but at this time we are not contemplating any realignment of the current division structure.
  6. Although we exhausted every option to have the Chargers remain in San Diego, at this time we feel the team returning to its Los Angeles roots is the most positive outcome for the team, the league, the players and the fans. I am honored to be able to work with respected owners such as the Pegulas and Krafts and to take their input where needed to push the league forward for the benefit of the players and fans.
  7. While our game officials continue to do an outstanding job week in and week out, I look forward to soon officially announcing major steps we are taking to address fans' concerns over how we plan to maintain a high standard of officiating in our evolving sport.
  8. The NFL understands certain fans have been critical of this season's prime time lineup, but I think all fans look forward to tuning in for tomorrow's AFC South matchup between the exciting Titans and improving Jaguars.

It is the input and support of fans like you that make this job rewarding and keep me motivated to continue working to improve the quality of the competition, the safety of the players and the enjoyment of the fans. I hope you enjoy the upcoming season.
  12. The league takes matters of domestic violence very seriously and has an obligation to conduct a thorough investigation into all credible reports of such matters.

  14. The NFL is honored to have the opportunity to work with Ms. Lanier.
  15. The league office will follow up on any credible evidence that has potential to harm the image of the league, the fairness of competition, or the well being of its players.
