The NFL expects all its employees, teams and players to act at all times with respect toward women. By making the difficult decision to hand down this suspension, the NFL has made it clear that violence toward women will not be tolerated and those who do not uphold that standard of conduct will face harsh discipline.

Mr. Kraft is one of the most forward-thinking owners in our league. We are excited for the prospect of continuing to offer NFL football beyond our national borders.

The National Football League thinks it's important for each franchise to have its own home stadium with its own character. We strongly support the efforts to get a new stadium built in Oakland for the Raiders.

Actually Mark, our research showed that many of our fans were unable to watch the draft when it was a weekend-only event so our change to the new format opened up the opportunity for many more fans to participate. That has been verified by the increased ratings since the change. We understand that no matter when the draft is held some fans may have conflicts, which is why we've worked hard to make the draft a multi-media event, making it possible for fans to access draft coverage through means other than television. We appreciate your continued support.

The Washington Redskins name has from its origin represented a positive meaning distinct from any disparagement that could be viewed in some other context. The name is a unifying force for the team's fans that stands for strength, courage, pride and respect.

The NFL is proud of the mutually beneficial relationships it has with its member teams and cities who graciously host the Super Bowl each year. We expect another successful event next February in Glendale, Arizona.
