  1. Hey guys! How's it going? You guys scare the sh-- out of me. No matter how good or bad a season you're having you always do your worst against us and usually at the worst times like this present playoff march. What's the status of Willis? Is he that banged up or will he be fine? How much will losing Crowell hurt and can Wire handle LB at his size? I would also like to invite some of you guys to call into our Jet Talk Radio show which goes on live at 3PM EST. I'm not looking for trash talking and you will be treated with respect. We would just like to hear from a knowledgeable fan. If you do decide to call in you would be representing this site. For more info on Jet Fuel and to listen in live go to www.jetfuelradio.com. The call in number is 516 874-2851. You guys are definitely going in the right direction with Jauron and this game will go down to the wire.
  2. Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by and say good game. You guys thoroughly out-played us and put up big numbers through the air and McGahee was an animal again. We just made timely plays and took advantage of the turnovers. I was expecting Chad to get knocked down and beat up and the lack of it surprised me. You guys have a good young team and will only get better. Losman has some wheels and I'm surprised he doesn't use them more often. And what makes this day worse is that the fish squeaked out a victory today against the 0-3 Titans. Damn. Anyway... Good luck the rest of the year. I'll be back before our next game.
  3. Abraham was great when he was on the field, but Herm was too damn conservative to do any blitzing and allowed Abe to get double-teamed constantly.
  4. If there is one series of 2nd guessing the coaching staff by the fans it's about Houston. We all ove what he has shown and looks to have great potentiol. He is a hard North/South runner and looks to be exactly what the Jets need right now. But for some reason he has been inactive the 1st 2 weeks. The only knock I saw on him was the inability to pick up the blitz. There are rumors that he'll suit up Sunday. We'll see.
  5. You may be wrong there. Chad has made some throws in the first two weeks that he couldn't make prior to the surgery. So don't count on him having a weak busted arm, he can make any throw now and has even improved his touch. Staying healthy is his only problem, so tell your front 7 to drop back in coverage and leave him alone.
  6. Lake charleston, North of Boca South of West Palm.
  7. We only have one chance at a secret weapon for Sunday and no, it's not Chad Morton getting traded to the Jets to return kickoffs. It's Cedric Houston if Mangini is smart enough to activate him.
  8. I like being in Fish Country. I'm also a cop so I get to pull over anyone with a customized Dolphins license plate or bumper sticker.
  9. Hey guys, How's it going? I just wanted to stop by and talk some friendly football. I watched your first two games and I can tell you right now that I'm jealous. Jauron has done great things with this team and I could only wish that we had a hungry looking defense like yours. As a long time suffering Jets fan I haven't seen a Jets defense that can get after the QB since "The Sack Exchange" with Gastineau and Klecko. If you guys had a QB, you could do some major damage in this league. That being said... this game scares the hell out of me. Although we scored 17 unanswered points on the Pats the final score wasn't a true indicator of what took place in the game. Yes we showed a lot of heart but plenty of weaknesses continued to show up. On the negative side, we have absolutely zero pass rush and have been playing too soft ont he WR's giving them a cushion. Which means I doubt we can get pressure on Losman which will keep him from making mistakes and allowing him to manage the game. McGahee should be able to run on us as well since we're still playing the 3-4 with personnel not cut out for it. On the plus side, Chad is playing awesome and if we can keep him from getting hit too much we may have a chance to score some points. But, since we have no rushing attack, I think we're in for a long day. I'm not here to talk sh--. On paper you guys should out-match us but like they say... On any given sunday. So, I'll be rooting hard for the Jets and wish you guys luck oh and thanks for embarrasing the Fish last week showing those guppie fans the real Culpepper and not the so-called savior of the franchise.
  10. If anything it sounds like he's biased towards Buffalo. He's basing his opinion on last Year instead of what;s going on this Year.
  11. Actually I do have my own board... Jets Forum I'm only here to see what the people that know most about the Bills feel. And that's their fans. I never look to talk garbage, I keep it intelligent and respectful.
  12. The defense has been more aggressive something Cottrell never did with the Jets but we still play too soft of a zone in the secondary. The front 7 are playing great bt Henderson needs to apply more pressure and keep it applied. We have a bad tendency of pulling back and playing safe instead of going for the throat. Hopefully that will change.
  13. Can't stop the run? That was last Year. Robertson is playing like a #4 pick now and Fergie has elevated his game as well. Abraham is a monster in this new scheme and Ellis is always solid. Cowart was playing good until he got injured and maybe was even on his way back to the former player he was in Buffalo but remember who took his place. Jonathan Vilma. Vilma is fast and instinctive and is a perfect match for your speedy backfield. True the secondary is our weak spot but it is much improved over last Year. I still look for a bunch of yards given up to Moulds and the rest, but the Jets are pretty good at the bend don't break when it comes to giving up TDs. It still could be anyone's game in the 4th qtr.
  14. Jets 23 - Bills 20 This one will be close. Anyone's game in the 4th.
  15. Hey Guys! Just wanted to stop by and get a feel for this week's game. How do you feel about it and the rest of the season? I know you're pretty banged up on defense now and I was wondering how that will effect you this week. What's your feelings on Bledsoe and why the lack of scoring? I don't get it. It's way too early in the season to look at next Year but 0-3 is scary, trust me as a long time suffering Jets fan I'm all too familiar with losing. I thought you guys were going to snap out of it last week until Bledsoe fumbled the game away in the 4th qtr. I'm not coming in here too confident either. The Jets are vey beatable. Especially with this coaching staff. They play way too conservative at times and tend to play not to lose instead of keeping the throttle pinned. On the defensive side of the ball we have a new coordinator and not only are the players still learning the system but the coordinator is still learning to be a defensive coordinator. On offense, Martin is looking young again but Hackett is still calling the plays and the man is too conservative and predictable. If the Jets have 500 2nd and 10 situations on the Year, Hackett will run the ball 490 times. You'll see, watch this game and come back on here and tell me if I'm wrong. Good luck Sunday, hope you don't win... but good luck.
