People are cranky as stevestojan today. I put a Bush/Cheney bumper stick on a VERY liberal coworkers door this AM and another big time lib in my office totally freaked out. Mind you, I did this for no other reason than to break the chops of my coworker...I could care less WHO she's voting for. If she was voting for Bush, I would have put a Kerry sticker on her door, and we all know Im a Bush guy. I was just breaking her stones. But my other coworker took my attempt at humor as some affront to the voting process and I was trying to, of course, intimidate people in my office. And, to keep with the hypocrisy of folks, the coworker who freaked out has a Kerry sticker on HIS door and has been known to talk around the office trying to get people to vote for Kerry. Amazing how people act sometimes.

There will be people crying "voter suppression and intimidation" if so much as they are directed to the bathroom in their polling place incorrectly. Not saying your situation was like that, VA....but thats the type of thing thats going to happen. This is going to get UGLY today. Funny thing....here on Long Island, weve got 50 year old hand-machines for voting with a bunch of geriatrics running the show. Never a problem...never confusion and a line never longer than 15 minutes.....even during Presidential elections. Why are there such issues with all this?

Right, because by reading our posts above, its clear that we are extolling Drudge's virtues as the one and only true bastion of journalism. So so patently clear from our posts above that we hold him in such high regard tha all other media outlets are pure trash. So the problem is whether or not its true...but if it is...and it appears that it is, its the MEDIA's fault for jumping on the story that is so bad about this. So by your rationale, no matter how ridiculous or repugnant the comment is...now matter what the action being reported is, its the REACTION to it that is important. I can never understand why people discount Drudge either. His site and headlines are sensationalist at times and he is definitely right-wing. But pretty much, all his site does is serve as a portal. And just by looking at the list of links to columns on his site, its not like he does not give the liberal columnists anything less than equal footing. But, of course, any site or paper or tv show that gives anything less than the proverbial blowjob and absolute top billing to the liberal agenda is considered "Faux" by most on that side of the aisle.

Along this line of thinking, I have never undertood how GW "Going to Daddy to advice" was considered such a bad thing. Last I checked, Bush's "daddy" has a just a tad-bit of experience in politics, world affairs and ruling the free world.
