  1. I dont think so but I do miss them. Along with the Bills one where I got into a lot of trouble, I used to frequent the cycling ones...and you would have the LEGENDS of USA cycling on there shooting the breeze and debating topics. It was fascinating.
  2. What the hell are you talking about? This development has been reported all over the place. Here...Ill use one of your "preferred" sources for citation: https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/12/politics/putin-trump-phone-call/index.html
  3. Now the rubber hits the road but this is just a stunning development. And all it took was a phone call and saying "lets talk." Amazing.
  4. I prefer alt.sports.football.buffalo-bills
  5. I do like the "concern" about DOGE having access to people's PII. Every federal, state and local law enforcement and surveillance agency from Maine to Guam ALREADY HAS IT. And, you do them a favor to keep their records up to date every time you requested custom Bills plates for your pickup truck or punch some info into a City of Buffalo site to pay a speeding ticket.
  6. He isnt Buddy Ryan, Spags, Jim Schwartz, Dick Lebeau, Dom Capers, Wade Phillips and Bill Belichick all rolled into one and his defenses werent ranked #1 every single year he was a coach. Therefore: Sucks.
  7. Well, its backfiring BIG TIME. Been listening to a lot of Mad Dog Sports on Sirius, with all the interviews and what not and this is a MAJOR talking point.
  8. Totally fair. The NFL has a serious problem on their hands. But judging by Goodell's comments he doesn't care.
  9. Thought about this a bit more. Look...Im NOT going to judge anyone who is still salty and doesnt want to watch these two immently hateble teams and in the case of Philly, the fanbase. But that said....this is the NFL Championship...how does one claim to be a "rabid football fan" and have the NFL take such a central part in their lives like we all claim to be and do, and then skip out watching this game?
  10. Goodell will sell the NFL out to a country that is 20 hours by planeride away, but Im supposed to beleive that he hes "above" making sure Tay Tay and all her fans dont have a spot in New Orleans?
  11. If you want proper information on this incident...or ANY incident involving aviation, Juan Brown is your man.
  12. They already have this. Wade Phillips is considered one of the best, most innovative DC's. Not sure thats a great example. And Davis Webb? For a fanbase that is so concerend about "wasting" Josh Allen, they sure do love giving him coordinators that are more green than Allyn Hayne's lawn.
  13. Its enraging me, all the conspiracy theories floating around and many being floated from "smart" people, who should know better. "It looks like the helicopter aimed for the RJ!" Yeah, no kidding. Things that collide with one another tend to look like that.
  14. Wing was sheared off and the RJ hit the water in less than 2 seconds. The bright side is that the victims probably died before they even realized what was happening to them. I have one friend a pilot and one who works ATC in NYC and both are very shaken by this crash.
  15. Leslie Frazier would like a word.
  16. I know its not going to happen but Id like Pederson...for OC. Brady did a good job of course but lets face it, its a matter of time before hes gone. Enough of these young "wonderboy" OCs. They come in...it takes time for them to learn on the job, then when they get their feet under them...poof they are gone. And now Joe Webb from UB's name was floated if Brady left. Oh good, a young guy with even LESS experience than Brady and Dorsey had. This team is right in the middle of a super bowl contention window. Enough with the "Western NY Offensive Coordinator Junior Jobs Program." Id love to have our "offensive version of Spagnuolo." An older (but not too old) coach who has a lot of experience and past success in the league, maybe had a run at HC but it didnt work out or it did and now he wants to settle in, and work on this talented team to offer knowledge and most important, continuity. Of course people will laugh becuase of Pederson's record last year in JAX, but look at the resume. The guy has a ton of experience and success as an offensive coach in the NFL. https://pro-football-history.com/coach/963/doug-pederson-bio
  17. Of course not! I get that. I just dont like the defensive and passive tone he had. I expected more out of him in that regard. Remember the "it pissed me off?" press conference? I wanted more of THAT out of him today.
  18. McDermott: "Nobody in this building is content with where we are at" "I dont think there is any consolation in that [being down 3 with 3 minutes to go]." "Our goal is to win a world championship and we will pursue that goal relentlessly." "I dont deal well with sitting on the edge and saying 'We will get them next year'." SEE??? WAS THAT SO HARD???????? Contrast these statements to what Beane said this AM. Night and day, IMHO.
  19. MY POST from Jan 25 of last year..... The TRUTH is that it is widely accepted around the entire NFL world that the Buffalo Bills organization and its culture is one of the best ones in the NFL, if not in ALL of pro sports in the US. Does that necessariliy translate to winning a championship? No. But the org is not some shoddy fly by night deal like you imply above. What McD and Beane have built is consdiered top tier around the league. And the idea that the Pegulas are "not in it for winning" doesnt wash, either. They invested a ton of money building what is consdered one of the best fitness centers in the NFL (https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bills-expect-world-class-sports-performance-center-to-enhance-their-game). They have laid out BIG contracts to free agents and to retain their own talent. Again...does that translate into winning? No. The Von contract is bad right now due ot his injuries. But its sure damn NOT for lack of trying. The effort to win is there. The MONEY is there.
  20. "Dont tell me what to do, Jimmy." Also, we are +3 days out from another bad playoff loss. If a "fan" is not allowed to be angry now, then when?
  21. I AM "thrilled to support this franchise." Got my Bills sneakers on right now. But I do not like...AT ALL...the tone of this press conference. I can do two things at once (usually).
  22. Yet, the team has run into the same wall for 4 years now. They CANT have a "run it back, we are already great" mentality. Thats a recipe for disaster and seems to be what Beane plans to do based on his passive comments in this PC. THAT is what is angering me (and others).
  23. To repeat... "The end result was unacceptable to the people in this building and we will review and evalute all aspects of the organization to get over the hump." All that needs to be said.
