  1. Youre right....players like Bruschi, Cecil Cooper and Gregg Lloyd were just trying "real hard" to make those tackles! Please..........
  2. If I was the Bills, Id smack Bruschi in the head as much as possible. Id do anything in my power to knock him out of the game and back into retirement. Call me insensitive, but this is how Teddy-boy has always played. He played to hurt people. Karma's a B word, innit?
  3. I still have no confidence in him. Hes had a nice year so far. But a few good games in pretty good weather still dont make up for his failings last year. When he's back in the situation he was in last year and this time comes through, then I'll revise my opinion of him.
  4. Whats the problem? You could probably start with Williams being gone and Edwards onm the shelf. And FFS...if youre looking to your secondary to correct problems with run defense, youve got HUGE issues that go beyiond that position.
  5. Isnt that one of the implied benefits of a second term? You *kind of* get to do what you want, polls and "opinion" be damned.
  6. I just watched another video and I saw NOTHING where the soldiers were told what to say in regards to their answers. Ive seen them go over who will handle each question. Ive seen them discuss how to answer each question to ensure Bush and the soldier dont speak over each other. Ive seen them discuss how the soldiers will introduce each other Ive seen them discuss what type of questions will be asked. I have not seen ONE SECOND of footage of an answer being read back to this DoD person and her saying anything like "No...answer that question like this."
  7. Wait a second...thisis not waht took place at all.
  8. Better ST, Better D, better OL, better running game and yes.....even a better QB.
  9. Oh, that is just !@#$ing AWESOME!
  10. This coming from a guy (I presume) who voted for someone they wouldnt let make a facial expression without being told to do so. Give me a break. GWB is bad at "thinking on his feet"....in front of a camera or audience. Sure. But to say that what what was done is some kind of indictment on him is insane. Do you HONESTLY believe that with media and technology for carrying it being what it is today this would have been handled in a significantly different manner if someone else was President?
  11. Were the soldiers given the answers tot he questions? NO. So they WERENT scripted.
  12. Leave me alone...Im bloviating (I learned that word on O'Reily )
  13. I really hate you..............
  14. WOW!!! What a revelation....what a SCOOP! You mean before the PUSA interviews 11 men and women someone preps those being interviewed with information about how it will be done and how the questions will be asked? WOW!!!!! Jesus...its called a "PRE-INTERVIEW" and pretty much anybody being interviewed on TV, from the guy down at the local gas station being asked about high gas prices on the local news down to a guest on Letterman goes through it. Try again.
  15. Sorry...sitting around and "expecting a miracle" and waiting for a "savior" is not in MY playbook. I prefer to get off my ass and WORK to make things better. I expect the Bills to try and do the same.
  16. Call me nuts, but I gather the Bills want to start a QB WHO CAN ACTUALLY PLAY. Bobby Bouchet cant......so its Holcomb.
  17. The idea of a "savior" is so silly.
  18. Didnt you get the memo? Unless you think all religion and everything that comes with it is complete garbage with zero merit youre not "enlightened" and "progressive."
  19. Youre willing to bet becuase you know damn well it is. I mentioned this before, try the book "Flyboys" which covers off on a lot of this stuff pretty well. Youll walk away from that book asking youself "What the !@#$ is everyone complaining about??!!??" in regards to "abuse" by the modern soldier.
  20. Id love to know what the coach's W/L record has been with this group of players. Id almost guarantee it isnt good. on edit: 2-3, with his record 2-2 before he quit. To be fair, he was coach of the year last year and posted a 10-2 record. So Im off on this.
  21. I support nothing more than his refresingly different decision to quit a job he held with people he didnt agree with, instead of trying to FORCE those people to agree with him. He didnt like the heat, so he got out of the kitchen. I respect that. Its quite different than the modern approach of picking up the oven and tossing it out the window.
  22. If this coach was a liberal, he would have sued and FORCED others to accept HIS principles, no matter how the players felt. Good for the coach. He didnt like the way things went, so instead of kicking and screaming and forcing others to adhere to HIS principles, simply left. He will probably go to a private school and be much happier.
  23. bull sh--. Ray Nagin's gross incompetency and corruption has gone by barely without mention and his actions have barely been documented. Meanwhile, the ENTIRE blame for the event's handling has gone to the Feds and the "Bush Bad" crowd has gone down again, this time with GWB getting bad press for..get this....going to NO "too much."
  24. Even I didnt B word about this win. And I B word about EVERYTHING during the game.
  25. William Rhenquist had a lot of experience on the bench before we was nominated to the Supreme Court.
