Yeah...I heard this "defense" last night. Thats right....by not "allowing" ObamaCorn to break the law, the GOP is "suppressing the vote." And I love the implication of racism with the whole "community organizer" thing. Comical. I just think there are better ways to judge a man's character than by how he operates machinery. But if were going this route, I can argue that McCain's flying style shows he will be a good, strong President. For example, the bomb run he got shot down on, he should have bailed out of. But he kept flying into the AAA and SAMS, refusing to disengage until he dropped his bombs, which most Naval aviators would do. Pretty brave, eh?

I wonder how it would be treated if someone said Obama would govern by "how the watermelon seeds fell out of his mouth" or something similar. Oh, I forgot...when a lib makes such a comment its "in jest" or "satire." On topic....from all accounts, McCain was a stubborn and ham-handed pilot. So what? Judging how he would govern the Nation based on how he flew? Whats next, having a look at how he drives? "Ya know.....that McCain.....he likes to speed in the right lane...how can such a man be President?!!??"

Thats not "State Business" being conducted. The "charge" she would face is that if she was conducting actual state business....carrying out her job responsibilities.....in the private account. So far, there is no evidence of that.

What crime did Palin commit? So far the "shes usuing private email for work" thing doesnt have any traction.

But a lot of liberals here (and elsewhere) are LOLing and high-fiving over it. These are the same folks who are up in arms over the current Admin "spying", state that the Patriot Act amounts to "invasion of privacy" and has these claims as one of the pillars of their hatred of the Admin. Thats my problem with this.

Thats like saying its OK to drink and drive on beer but not on vodka. At the end of the day, its an invasion of privacy, no matter who/what/why carried it out. And I dont think either is right.

I truly beleive Lance was clean becuase as the leader of the tour for so many stages, he was tested more than anyone. But...with the state of cycling, I wouldnt be shocked to find out he wasnt clean. One guy Id be downright POed to find out was doping would be Jens Voit. He is a true ambassador ofthe sport and knows how to compete. Its weird. On one hand, Im psyched for a LA comeback. OTOH, I could care less and Im so much "over" LA with so many other good racers out there, especially with two good strong American teams out there.
