  1. I still talk about Lonnie Johnson forgetting that was a fake punt to this day. I thought that was going to be career ending
  2. Remember Andre Reed towards the end of the first half of our final Superbowl? He should have gone out of bounds as well
  3. JD Williams, James Patton, Lonnie Johnson, Eric Flowers
  4. Jumped the shark or flown the coop?
  5. If there is a run on QB's, we get choice pick of other positions and get better. If there isn't a run on QB's, one falls to us.
  6. I'm not against trading up or staying put. Depends on where they have the players rated based on what the offensive/defensive game plan is. I think we make the playoffs again with McCarron starting as long as we add guys who contribute. And IMHO if we trtade up, it has to be for Darnold or Rosen. Allen and Mayfield aren't worthy of the pick we have now
  7. If we get Rosen and the Jets get Leaf, I'll jump for joy
  8. It's rolling the dice big time, but what big move isn't
  9. I'm the guy who said to give the Giants the #12 and Tradavious White for the #2
  10. I take Darnold or Rosen in the first round if they fall to us. I don't want another Emmanuel
  11. Ok, lets say we go with McCarron and end up around .500. Where do we end up if we take a rookie who doesn't make it?
  12. We'll be fine with McCarron if this happens. Getting another bust doesn't help us either
  13. No on Allen. I think Rosen and Darnold are the top 10 picks in this draft. Unless teams panic the others will fall
  14. If we get the QB we want, we likely make the playoffs. If we don't get the qb, we likely still make the playoffs. zzzzzzzz
  15. If we picked him up and he forced using the franchise tag, I'd be thrilled
  16. Most likely, as it would allow them to easily move back up to #2 and still have the late first round pick
  17. I don't see why the Jets are so penciled in at taking a QB. With the distinct possibility of Darnold and Rosen going first and the dropoff of the other QB prospects, this alone raises a flag. And Mayfield's questionable character definitely drops him quite a bit. Also, they invested in a very promising young QB in Bridgewater, in addition to resigning a veteran. I could see them going Nelson or Barkley unless one of the two top QBs fall to them
  18. Darnold, Rosen and Nelson are the three best offensive prospects in the draft and arguably the three best overall. I honestly think Nelson is the best
  19. Made playoffs with a flawed QB
  20. I can't see the next Ryan Leaf going at #2
  21. My take for what it's worth. I think he offers an upgrade to Tyrod Taylor in the passing game, but I rate him slightly below him overall. Tyrod had a definite impact on how the front seven played gaps against the run, and his legs also impacted the passing game. I think we have the personnel to make up for the differences and I also think our current team is better than last season's playoff team. That said, I take a QB in the first round if we can get Darnold or Rosen. I keep far away from Mayfield (maturity) and Allen (style of play). I believe the clearest route to getting one of the big two is the #12 pick and Tre'Davious White to the Giants at #2. Yes, losing White would be awful, but given the choice beteen him and one of those two QB's, I think the answer is obvious. If we can't get one of those two QB's, I'd say we wait on that position till later and stock up on talent, particularly on both lines and linebacker. We definitely can win with McCarron.
  22. Those were the days!
