  1. Wrong. It's wrong either way. Bill Maher seemed like an idiot (sorry DCTom) when I saw him on HBO a few years ago, and he probably still is an idiot, just like Limbaugh. Problem is that our society is uncivilized and ill mannered and finds that garbage funny.
  2. But is he a high-motor, lunch bucket type?
  3. Do you think we would be better off without a minimum wage?
  4. I can agree with you- I also would like something done with the lobbyists. They have way too much power on both sides of the aisle Ha! but not that type of draft
  5. That last line needs to be left out. It really spoils the demogougery, which is what it's really all about. Let the left have a little fun. On a serious note, what is your opinion of the draft? "We" elected the people who were in Congress through a majority vote. President Obama was elected through a majority in the electoral college. It is usually guaranteed that everybody won't be pleased by a President (and that goes all the way back to the first one), but everyone is part of the electorate that put them in office.
  6. Some argue that it was the best team in college history. He has some similar measurables to Welker, but didn't pan out (I didn't think he would and was horrified atthe pick.
  7. So do I, although he is completely wrong.
  8. I think he would be great in San Francisco. Great WRs, great defense and stable coaching situation. I can easily see him getting that team to a superbowl- if he is healthy
  9. I once thought I was wrong, but that was incorrect
  10. Now 3rdnlng, you are going to hurt their feelings with your harsh, harsh words. I truly feel that you need to be more sensitive about issues which you discuss. The again, maybe you should be viscious.
  11. Um, by giving the benefit of the doubt. I won't say that I am not skeptical about it, but he probably would have been better served by not doing it- which is what I meant about him not doing it for everybody. Had I done it, it clearly would have been for the right reasons. Or it could have been the wrong reasons- I'm not sure. What was I talking about?
  12. I think it was nice of him, but I was saying that unless he is going to call everyone that is insulted in that manner, it may be best not to do it. You may or not be right. This is probably the result of our opposing avatars. You apparently haven't seen me bust a move on the dance floor. Do you disagree that Palin and Bachmann were wronged in the same way?
  13. While I think his phone call apology was a bit over the top, I do commend the gesture. The problem is that you can't do it for everybody. Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann (and many others) deserve the same courtesy as Ms. Fluke (and I don't mean from the office of the President- I mean from everyone)
  14. You are correct about the second part- I really try on that, but I am decent at writing up sports, but not personal opinions. As far as the first part, that isn't my opinion at all- the business and religious aspects of the church are separate- it is a very muddled issue, I will say that.
  15. you don't have to side with a group to be taking a stand on something. I don't care if i sound like an idiot more often than not. My opinion is the opinion of one person. I don't care if people agree with me, I don't care if they don't.
  16. so do you want the hanky? It's a yea or no question.
  17. I agree completely. To add to that, It's nice that he stays in shape and is a uniter.
  18. if I had to make sense to others, Id be a very unhappy person. Not too sure what lithium is used for, but i am a Nirvana fan.
