  1. TO played well for a guy on a bad ankle- although I would hardly say he dominated. One of his big plays came off an illegal pick, and he made a couple spectacular catches on the last TD drive. He did not listen to the team doctors since he got hurt. Athletes MUST obey what the team and the doctors say. They are the property of the team, after all.
  2. The problem is that the left wing freaks act like they control the party, just like they think they ARE America. I know some good democrats, who are quite conservative. Michael Moore is not a Democrat, nor a republican....he's not even really an American.
  3. Thats sickening.....send him somewhere far away
  4. It wasnt as close as you think........I hope there is a second party in '08, cause the dems are not it
  5. I think this is a bit one sided, but we do need to invest more in education.
  6. I think thats a bit harsh. She's acting very juvennile, and would make her party look much better by backing off a losing cause.
  7. because Bledsoe is such a universal topic. In the amount of time it took Emeril to make a souffle, Bledsoe was sacked 6 times.
  8. One freak injury raises questions about his durablilty? How can he impress with little playing/practice time? He wont determine how we do- the O-line and MaGahee will
  9. It sounds like she is making noise just to make noise. Maybe she needs to be KOed. She is an embarrassment to her party.
  10. I think you answered your own question. I can give no reason for you to agree with anything- that is your choice. You should respect things for what they are- whether they are different from what you believe, or not.
  11. I couldnt disagree more. The Atlanta Falcons had their offensive strength negated yesterday- they could not effectively run the ball. Michael Vick is a different type of QB, much the way Steve Young was- and people resisted that change too. Vick is going to be the type of QB who will eventually fake to a couple running backs, then take off, opening lanes for himself. Then when a DB comes up, he can unload the ball. Vick only had 2 years of college ball, and a couple years in the pro's, minus last year's injury. It takes time to develop- even if people are way too impatient. The game is changing, and nobody is going to stop it.
  12. on social security- I dont want to read anything for or against what is going on....so hard to get unbiased facts!
  13. I just dont see anything that stands out as good or evil anymore- some people see something one way, yet so many see it another. It might sound weird, but its too true.
  14. WE are horrible, because we didn't immediately shower them with billions. It takes time to put something like that together!!!! We only came up with a few paltry million dollars TO START OUT WITH!- we are horrible people.
  15. I think Bush won because he has a conservative base. Conservativism is taking a hold as morales seem to bebreaking down- everything is entertainment and technology. We need a place to put those who prioritize those 2 things above morality.
  16. My question was meant to be whether the battle between conservatives and liberals has become bigger than democrats vs. republicans. IMHO, it has, and until the democrats nominate a conservative democrat, they will not return to the white house, so nominating Clinton would be a waste of time
  17. I'm pretty anti-Bush, but I don't believe he's refering to himself, but to America. I agree, though. The war was a mistake, and now we are stuck there.
  18. Well, I just dont have the $$$$ to get back down there at this point in time. I'm stuck where I am. As far as the being allowed to vote goes- someone working for the board of elections told me that my ballot, and many others were not sent out, although they were recorded as being sent out. No matter who won, that is wrong if it is true.
  19. I may be mistaken, but didnt he run his election to appeal to a conservative base? I figure that would be the only way for a democrat to get back in office.
  20. Well, you obviously lead everyone but me in sarcasm. No, Kerry would not have won. Does that mean that it doesn't matter if someone is allowed to vote or not? Thats as ridiculous as the democrats blaming Nader for costing them elections. Provisions were made to allow astronauts to vote from space- my vote is as important as any of their, or the troops. No one vote is more important than any other.
  21. No- its not cowardice, because I would not give up my freedom for my own safety, but for the safety of all. If Terrorists are allowed all the same freedoms as us, their taks is much easier, and ours is much harder. I'd like the constitution suspended anyways- I think that our own freedoms are leading us towards our downfall
  22. Two thumbs up- just got my DVD's from Fezmid awhile back- top notch!!! Awesome watching the comeback against Houston, and the snow game vs. Miami again!!!
  23. When I think about it, I know quite a few republicans that would have voted for the democrat candidate, if they thought he was a viable candidate- they were not really pro-Bush. Last time the Democrats got a guy in office, it was a man from a red state, who garnered a conservative base. That being said, I think what the election was is the conservatives overcoming the vocal minority, which is the liberals. Anyone agree or disagree- I expect some very interesting opinions.
  24. With all due respect to the forfathers of our country- who had a good read on how the world was then, and how it might be, this now is a much different world than anything that could have been envisioned. People who arent supposed to be protected by our constitution are now taking advantage of rights that arent theirs, and in doing so rob us of our freedoms by making us unsafe. An unsafe existance is not a free one. I'm more than willing to sacrifice my freedoms to help the greater good.
