Some people claim that the war on terror can't be won.........terrorism is wrong, and we must fight it, and win it- or go down trying.

I am so sick and tired of hearing that old winning is the only thing garbage, that a rally that falls short is worthless, and how 2nd place is the first loser. People that think that $&^$* don't have their own opinions, they are wrong. EVERYTHING that happens out on the field AT ANY LEVEL is worthwhile. Second place is the secopnd best team- for the other way of thinking, there is only one relevant team, and the others shouldnt have bothered. Haveing been around more championship teams than I care to count- none of them thought that way- that was stuff said by most of the losers- maybe they should be questioning the people who brought them up, as should the rest of the sporting world and society as a whole. There is no room for that trash.

I didnt say wouldn't do it- I said if it was really him, I dont think he'd admit it....from what I heard, he's going to be able to put his kids or grandkids through college now......figures

Reich was much more than that one game- he always played like that when given the chance. I don't think he should make the wall, but I think the 1990-1993 teams should get a collective spot on the wall. He just didnt play enough

I'd rather watch reruns of Nova on PBS, or a couple hours of the history channel than Un-American Idol....which is a VERY fitting name for people getting money they HAVENT earned!!

While I pretty much agree with you, I agree with their stance that the Koran should not be abused- which from my understanding, it wasn't abused. It a perfect world, we could just be nice to the terrorists, and they would stop....unfortunately, the world is not perfect, and sometimes we have to get them before they get us

Just saw it- it looks to me as if they are mocking Newsweek's portrayal, although either way, it is in poor taste. The media must be taught that they are accountable for their actions, because they dont think they are

I dont see moveon.org being in touch with the majority of the left- I think they are a bunch of extremists. Basically part of the group that things the group that screams the loudest will be mistaken for the majority. It hasnt worked yet

I am pretty conservative, but I do understand that liberals do have a strong basis for most of their arguements. I think that both sides should resort to the "old style" of discussing differing opinions, instead of relenting to what the media wants as far as causing all types of problems over it....there usually is more than one correct view on things.

ok, my take on Bush....I was tough on him before, but after being more critical, I don't think he's the villain that liberal media makes him out to be. Nor is he the saint that conservatives make him out to be. He is merely the President of the United States, and I think he has been very consistent in his decision making. He typically follows what he believes, and will not waver from that to make one side happy. I can respect that- whether or not I agree with his decisions. The media, on the other hand, I see as the ULTIMATE villain. They hang him, of give their stamp of approval- and in doing so, waver so much that we dont know if they actually agree or disagree- all they really look to do is create dissention among the right and left wingers so that a story is MANUFACTURED. Its time to take our country back from the political media. Don't let them incite us, ignore them and their attempts.....seeing some of these people lose there jobs would be wonderful. We need more actual journalists who have integrity, and report the news instead of making it.

I wish I met him when I interned......Mr. Van Miller is a great guy......Murphy does a great job, but he has huge shoes to fill.
