Heartbreaking? Penn State nearly beat Michigan AND Ohio State in the same season. I say good for them! Coaching success is not just measured in wins and losses, unless you are the media, and have to stir things up

Building a strong program takes patience and consistency over the long haul. If you give into the impatient people who can come up with nothing better than change the coach....then you'll be stuck in the cycle of losing with a new coach for another round.

Not to put words in your mouth, but that doesn't make him a bad coach either.

Used to be up in Cleveland (near Greenville), but I'm in the frozen tundra of New York State. Wish I could come down and catch a game in the friendly south though!! Lots of great football to the north of you in Oxford and Starkville though!

Sorry, but if he's screwing with the local media, then good for him- they deserve whatever they get- they are an insult to media, and completely unprofessional. Sullivan and Schopp would be good on MTV, because thats the crowd they appeal to! -
