10-15 years ago, fans would be waiting for Leonard Smith to smash Chad Johnson to smithereens over the middle- which would probably have resulted in Mr. Johnson leaving from a face to face with his agent about something in his contract. 5-year, long term....whatever. Wow, a GM might have missed, thats a first......he did have Bledsoe- a guy none of us seem to be able to make our minds up on yet. Maybe, maybe not. I hope he is at guard in training camp- HEALTHY- so we can make a decision that isnt hasty. So maybe we should have grabbed the next best thing after Khalif Barnes was taken......and gotten another so called bust. I couldn't care less if RJ was kept over a fan favorite- who was only a favorite of half the fans. It was the right move- Flutie wasnt a long term solution, and there is a reason he hasn't started many games since. Sorry, but players come and players go, it happens. 30 other teams aren't whinning about not having him. So Bledsoe was the reason we were good last season....wrong again! Correctomundo! We should have kept Travis despite his whinning, and had him hold out and get nothing- you sure are GM material! Get serious. Players go from climate to climate when going pro all the time- this is just a stupid excuse you get from TV simpletons. Can you say the already disproven attribution theory- next we're on to Pavlov's dogs....is that a bell I hear?

I wonder who on sportscenter is on the hotseat- Stuart Scott has been slipping recently, and is not so good with the one liners. Management can't be too happy. Their sideline reporter (Kolber?) also has a problem keeping track of which player is on which team. She might be looking at a major paycut if she wants to return. Maybe they should trade her to WWE for the Coach or Jerry Lawler

No, not the case on either count. Donahoe has made some good moves and some bad moves since he came here, and some good moves that just didn't pan out. The media is there to report news, not to create it, and not for ratings.

I look on the board, and see our line sucks, our QB sucks, our coach sucks, our GM sucks, our defense sucks. Granted, there is truth in some of it- but doesn't one part being bad make the others look worse than they are?

I see nothing in the article that insinuates he isn't hurt. Mularkey has been very guarded about injurues- and he has the right to- the media is not entitled to everything, despite the fact the act like crying 4-year olds when things dont go their way

Johnson is just talking to see how dumb the media actually is. He has no intention of bringing a live animal on the field, and the NFL would not allow it- he'll let the morons in the media hype this up, and just laugh at them later, like the rest of us do.

Is better good enough- is it consistent enough? I don't buy that he runs gadget plays just to run them. You may not think he is Vince Lombardi, but he's not a complete moron. I think he wants a power offense, but knows that we dont have the line for it.
