I am for everyone throwing out their talking points and trying to find a solution. Is more gun control needed? Dang if I know! I am all for discussing it though, without the NRA's lobbyist money buying the decision. I very much agree with the point going around Facebook now (which is being attributed to Morgan Freeman), about the media glorifying these incidents. I also think they should leave the kids alone as far as interviews.

Read about it last night. There is a petition to declare them a hate group. I signed it, but I think terrorist group is more fitting.

It is a minority that gives religion a bad name. As a matter of fact, most of the people who are the problem, have little to do with their professed religions: just look at Osama Bin Laden and Fred Phelps.

I will add that religion combined with absolutism is a bad thing. Anything combined with absolutism usually is.

Just read that the Westboro people are going to show up to picket at the school. Those hate mangers need to go away.

Someone from ESPN radio had two guys debating politics on a post she put on her Facebook about the tragedy. Very sad she had to intercede and tell them to cut it out.

I see this in here and quite a bit on Facebook- everybody is politicizing and injecting religion. Some call for more guns, others call for more regulations. Some call for God in school others blame religion. Everyone shouting their solution without caring to know what happened. So typical........every tragedy is an opportunity for some.

I disagree with those religions on that, but not enough to really care. Live and let live. My fairy tale is no better than theirs.

Yes, and vigilantes get far these days. If a cop is unlawfully searching your place, they are trespassing and probably crazy. But no good will come of pulling a gun on a cop. Try it and see what happens.

You have a better chance at a good result. Pull a gun on a cop and the only possible result will be a bad one.

In that case you are wrong. You get a lawyer and take care of it. Most often you'd want to get the heck out of there, because you probably are dealing with a renegade, to begin with.

If you think you should pull a gun on a cop who is unlawfully searching your home, you are wrong.

All those books do. They were written by men who want to manipulate others. It has worked.
