You are correct about the importance of the line of scrimmage- but the draft is about building the core of the ream. As much as people would like to draft for needs. especially high. Still, you have to make the team core as talented as possible, so you take the best player available. A good line with not many skill players won't get you far. Look at the Houston Oilers- that might have been the best offensive line I've seen that never got to a Superbowl. Their receivers were overrated and so was Lorenzo White. If our team had their offensive line, we might be where Indy is now.....but we'd also be way over the cap! lol

I won't say the he definitely will get better- but if he takes a paycut, I'd like to see him try right guard- on his natural side of the line......worst case scenerio, he doesnt work out, and gets cut. He definitely has the talent, I hope he can make it work

I'm more for signing Bentley, and moving Williams to RG if he takes a pay cut- he is more comfortable on the right side- and trust me, switching sides made him think more than attac this year. Let Adams go, and draft Ngata from Oregon- Bannan and Anderson have played very well. Let Clements go- franchse him and pull another Peerless Price deal if possible. I like King and McGee if we blitz less, and play more cover 2 zone

You make some valid points- but one that is not valid is that there are a lot of Trent Dilfers out there- ESPN likes to call the skill "Managing the game", and they make that out to be easy. Like most of the things ESPN says- thats ridiculous- its one of the most difficult skills for any QB to master.

Yes it was- good hockey sells itself. The best change they could possibly make is to make the rinks bigger- that would fix all the problems that exist.....it would be VERY expensive though. Even if they don't play to a decision in the regular season, it wouldn't matter- they keep telling fans that ties are not good. TO this, I ask why not?
