  1. I hate ESPN already for what they do with sports, and how they try to replace sports with movies and card games/tricks. The commercial doesnt bother me at all. ESPN and WGR and Buffalo News all stink!
  2. I like Cotrell, and I think he'd do a good job- but he's not a fit for every team or head coach. Mularkey and Levy will find a good fit, I'm not worried either way.
  3. Coughlin is an excellent coach!!!! In his 2nd year, he got Jacksonville to the AFC title game, and has usually gotten the most out of his team- even in losing seasons. Any negativity out there about him s from soft players who can't handle his style- those guys arent good enough anyways. and to those wanting to trade Mularkey from him- maybe that would be good, maybe not. The fact is that we don't know enough about Mularkey yet- we've had him here just 2 seasons.
  4. Lets make the Bills bring back WR Kamil Loud!!!
  5. What were you doing up at 4- not up to any mischief, I hope!
  6. I'd like to see the 1990-1993 Bills on the Wall of fame- they accomplished something that may not be appreciated as much as it should, but will never happen again
  7. I thought we were talking offensive coordinator here, not head coach
  8. I wouldn't rush him to LT- or Ferguson if we draft him. Give either a year or so at LG, before putting them at such a crucial position- look at how Leonard Davis grew into the position
  9. He did something wrong- I don't feel bad for him at all.
  10. John was pretty tough, but Bill has some potential pass me another shot please
  11. Actually, I think Thurman made Metzelaars more successful- Thurman is the best football player we've ever had
  12. Polian would run Sullivan and WGR right out of town!-if he let them get that far
  13. I can't believe how much they gave up to get him- a 4th round pick! that must be a joke.
  14. Levy is very capable of doing a great job, but that doesn't mean it will happen. Donahoe was capable also- but the positions we needed were hard to come by during his tenure here. Luck has so much to do with it.
  15. To me, its not time, but gut feeling- Donahoe was going by the philosophy of taking the best guy available then adjusting the roster. We had the OL that Jacksonville drafted targeted- when they took him, we didnt reach for an OL, and took our top rated guy in Parrish. Once things worked out, and Donahoe got the line taken care of (which was just a matter of time), I think we'd have been good. It was just a etter of when the players we need become available to us without overreaching for them- Donahoe was a long term guy, not a "we have to have this now" type of guy. But, its all good- the decision wasn't right or rong- its just what it is. We'll be fine with Levy as GM.
  16. I think officiating balances out- bad calls happen- Brady just finds a way to get it done, IMHO.
  17. Whatever happened to the mythical letter schwah?
  18. Its all a matter of semantics- he was here 5 years, and I understand why we let him go.I don't think letting him go mad us better. I do prefer Levy to him though
  19. You took me a bit too literally Better to be a dope than smoke it, I always say!
  20. Actually, we didn't really give him five years- the first year or two was cleaning out the cap- infortunately, he made the mistake of going with a stopgap QB, instead of being bad, and getting to draft high.
  21. I'd like to bring Williams nto camp with a redone contract that allows him to be cut- I comletely agree with your assessment of putting him at RG. Haven't seen D'Brickshaw Ferguson play, so I have no opinion on him. Just don't forget- left tackle is a very tough spot for a veteran, much less a rookie- if somehow we got him, don't be surprised to see him at LG for a year or 2, while Gandy remains at LT- look at what Arizona did with Leonard Davis before giving him the LT spot. Pittsburgh immediately inserted Marvel Smith at LT, and that was a disaster.
