I like Harris- he's a widebody, that I thought we could get in the 3rd round. I still like the FB from Tulsa, who I dont think has been taken yet.

Actually, I think Jason Peters struggled on the right side, because he is a finesse player, that is more suited for LT. Fowler is an adequate starter, and should be an immediate upgrade over Teague. Preston will be much better than Anderson was. Tuten has shown he can play......RT is up for grabs. Its a matter of when will the light go on for Losman- and if it doesn't, what is the plan. It took Plummer about 5 years- forgetting his 1 good season in Arizona. Losman has shown flashes- something we ignored in the one season Collins got. We dont want to see musical chairs at QB, just because some fans find change entertaining. Let those fans stay home and watch TV, and keep them the heck out of our stadium.....dont need em

Ngata was not worth the 8th pick. We wanted a penetrating 1-gap guy. We dont have to take "win now" guys because thats what fans want. Fans buy tickets and clap their hands.

I know you werent asking me, but I think each weakness on the OL compounded the next weakness. I think our plays tended to develop slowly, Moulds took some plays off, and we had a rookie QB that didnt know what to do w/the ball yet....the light has not gone on for quite a few players yet......its going to take time and patience

I was hoping for a player named Herbie Moxley. ANyone know if a guy w/that name is available? I figure if I wait long enough, there will be a Herbie Moxley in the league.

To say that fans know nothing is ridiculous. To say they know as much as coaches, GM's and scouts is also ridiculous. Coach Levy, Jauron, and the scouts know what we are going to be running on the field, and how certain players fit those systems. We dont know that....we know sterotypes of systems, but not exactly what they plan. When they made those picks, did they call fans idiots? I highly doubt it. They know what they are doing.

Well, from what I heard, a group (not sure who) in Sothern California has given the government an ultimatum- either build the fence, and staff it to stop the illegal immigrants, or we will. Maybe I'm missing something, but didn't they just tell the government....spend a few billion, or we will.........the choice seems obvious!

Some great insights from a great man.

I see 2/5 of our OL as set- Fowler at center and Preston at guard. Peters sould grab one of the tackle spots, and Villerial may start at the other guard. I expect that we will draft a tacklesomewhere- possibly Winston from Miami- if Peters stays on the right side. With MaGahee as a bigger threat behind a better OL, Evans and Price should be able to take advantage of their speed to stetch the field......if Everett becomes an underneath threat, and can split the seam, even better. We need a 3rd WR to emerge- I think Reed may fit the bill (no pun intended).....he had a better season that anyone wanted to admit. I'd love to get a FB like the one from Tulsa, who could fill Larry Center's old role, and make things tough for defenses underneath. Hopefully the flashes Losman has showed thusfar develops into something more consistent,because he definitely has tons of potential.
