  1. Well, there still is political process- his veto can be overriden, thats why we have the best system in the world!
  2. If the US Army says that Tillman deserved the SIlver Star, then he does- that simple. ESPN does not have a right to nose in, just to report what happened
  3. I disagre with him, but the fact is, that he's doing what he was voted in to do. If you don't like it, find someone electable to replace him in 2008. Last time the democrats couldn't do it, and Hillary Clinton is not the answer either.
  4. Well, its nice that ESPN thinks they get to decide whether or not Pat Tillman earned his Star or not, and that they are judging the decisions of the army. ESPN is not a news channel, and the people who work there are not journalists. Anyone who can't see that is nuts
  5. I really didn't think it was a choke job....kickers are not 100% He simply didn't make the play in that instance.
  6. I'd like to win, but I'll take the good w/the bad......got Sunday Ticket, and cant wait for the season! get ready for another abberation at some point in the next few years
  7. Actually, they need better production from the offensive and defensive lines, and a sense of direction. I think we will see improvement in all of those categories this year
  8. He hasn't been a very good run blocker at this stage, but he's only played the position for 1 year, and he was put there more for his mobility and footwork in pass protection. As he becomes more natural at pass protection on the OL, watch for him to get out in space, and start hitting guys on the run, and be a DOMINANT run blocker. He will develop into a great blocker especially on outside runs and screen plays.
  9. I'd rather bang myself in the head with a hammer than read anything Jerry Sullivan writes. He's the Chuck Dickerson of the paper- and thats not a compliment
  10. Actually, I once saw a toilet on sale in florida for $5,000....self cleaning
  11. Ledt tackle is tougher to find than center, but center is more important- the line collapses w/out a good center
  12. Where can I find a listing of salaries for people at USA Today and ESPN?
  13. Not to mention that they won in the playoffs w/out him by spreading the ball around. Their offense changed when he returned, and so did the result
  14. Jauron was 3rd runner up to Sherman for NFL Coach of the year a few years back, and I'm sure that Jauron did not have one of the top NFL players EVER on his team.
  15. Just out of curiosity, do you listen to Michael Savage's Savage Nation?
  16. Culpepper CAN be an elite QB, but I dont see the tools there yet for him to be one in Miami. He is a pretty good pocket passer, and a very good runner. The thing he doesn't do well is move around in the pocket, and thats why he failed last year in Minnesota. The way Marino used to move in the pocket, and sidestep the rush- Culpepper hasn't shown that. There is a very real chance that he plays horribly, and gets hurt again. They need better blocking. On the other hand, don't be shocked if Joey Harrington steps in and plays at a VERY high level for them, and even gets them to the playoffs. His skill set is very different that Culpeppers, or what was asked of him in Detroit, where he never fit in. I think he could end up starting next season
  17. Donavan McNabb CANT be regarded as a wuss....look what he played through last year- while the entire OL was out, and no blocking. Terrell Owens (thats his real name) was the only wuss on the team, and I look forward to seeing Bledsoe destroy him.
  18. I think Melvin Fowler is a HUGE upgrade at center over Teague- and that should trickle down to the guards and tackles. Preston- we'll see on him, too early to judge. Reyes is very highly touted, so if he pans out, we could be a lot better. Wont be able to tell till at least mid-way through the season
  19. I am the Muldrun Man, who hides behind a mask, now everyone can see.......
  20. I have a feeling that Cincy won't let him go. I'd like us to have more success in the draft than free agency- we have team building to do, leave free agency for when we need that final player or 2.
  21. The 23-20 win over Miami in 1995. Any time you only beat Miami by 3, it is absolutely heartbreaking, and unacceptable. You should beat them by 30.
  22. My problem with that is Jeff Posey- he was brought in because of his pass rushing talents, and all we have done with him is drop him into coverage. He was known as a good 3-4 guy, but not a good 4-3 guy when we brought him in. Blame Donahoe AND the coaches for not getting together on this before hand. We've done more to expose his weaknesses than exploit his strengths. Moulds will be an effective offensive threat for Houston if the line blocks for Carr and Davis, and the defense does not give up a million points per game. Peters can turn into Anthony Munoz, but it wont mean squat if the rest of the line doesnt pan out.
  23. Absolutely not. Bledsoe is not a hall of famer. He was a good QB in his era, but HOF's get in on their own merits- hypothetically, if no QB goes in for 20 years, thats fine. Bledsoe had a fine career, and overacheived in many circumstances. He got a bad rep in Buffalo, but the team stunk while he was here.
