Looking back, I really don't think we had one complete QB for him to settle on, and I'm sure he knew more than me. Same thing for what happened w/Wayne Fontes in Detroit.

lol, polly wanna cracker? Not saying everyone is like that, just the majority. Fact is that no athletes travel more than IA athletes, and while some people use that as a fall back, it still is true. IAA teams do not travel as much, and neither do Division II or Division III teams. We do not need a tournament for entertainment's sake- we already have enough good games. Besides, Boise State does not factor into the championship scene anyways. They couldn't do what they did against Oklahoma to a LSU, Florida, Arkansas, Ohio State, Michigan, or USC. Not even on any given day

JP has about 1.5 seasons of experience- he actually has developed much quicker than I figured he would, and I still think he has plenty of upside. I'd like to get him at least one big target- I think we have the shortest group of WR's in the league, and we have to go spread to help them get open. Not doing that all the time would help the line play better. I'd love the WR from Notre Dame or the TE from Rutgers

Everett has played one season since blowing out his knee......not everything is about today. I do think both Fletcher and Spikes will be gone, and Ellison will move to the middle

As I said- probably trying to convince himself, more than anything. As far as not being good at the NFL level, nothing was proved either way- 2 years doesn't prove anything.

Not impressed with him or his comments. Sure, maybe Saban could have handled things a bit better, but I think he was doing nothing more than trying to talk himself into staying in Miami. Shula comes off as very bitter about the Miami and Alabama situations. Maybe even about himself, considering how he finished his last decade

I haven't seen Al Gore's movie, but my guess is, it tells a part of the truth. Global warming is a fact- and I'd think we'd all agree on that. But, we can only do so much to slow it. The Kyotee traty did not help, but it looks as if somewhat of a solution has been found. I read somewhere about the ability to convert the excess heat into non-carbon producing electricity.....now that stuff is way over my head, but it sounds like a step in the right direction!

No, they would have been defeated if they played a USC, Florida, or Ohio State. There is no shame at all in the season they had, and the fact that they finished unbeaten. The only reason people want a tournament is for entertainment value. Those people care nothing for the schools or players involved
