I agree- and the quality of football is way down....I have no intentions of renewing my NFL Sunday Ticket package. Not worth it......I'll catch the highlights from the Bills and Browns later.
None of the remaining teams are all that impressive. I think the Saints are the best of the bunch.
I have to disagree- kicking a 48-yard field goal into the wind is not high percentage. The interception/fumble is a one in a million play- the guy should have fallen down, and not tried to make the highlight film....much like Clements trying for the pick against Jacksonville on 4th and 18 a couple years ago
Not Schottenheimer's fault at all- his team overachieved this year, as his teams usually do- something to be commended for, not fired
During a horrible down period in the NFL........Dallas or San Francisco of the 1990's would wreck them. SOme of the mid level teams from back then would beat them pretty bad as well
he's a very good WR< and I wouldn't mind getting him, but I consider Jarrett the top talent in the draft- still taking a WR with the first overall is not a wise move- I still Laugh at the Jests for taking Meshawn
Kiper has never impressed me. a WR will not go 1st, anyone who would do that is crazy. I'd be happy w/Okoye, Branch, Bush, Irons, or a really good guard or tight end...lots of guys can help.....crack out the shopping cart!
I agree- he has always coached teams with significant holes- in KC, he had no real QB or WR's except for an old Montana. In San Diego, he now has a 1st year QB, and no WR's.....both lines are vastly overrated as well. Sacks are a very overrated stat
I'm worried that we might not be in for a playoff season- its a lot easier to go from bad to decent, that from decent to playoff team.
I don't see this as a strong defensive draft, and after yesterday, I think Clements will end up as a seahawk. Playoffs are not out of the question- if anyone can get us there it is Jauson and Levy.
If we don't get a solid DT in the 1st round, we probably will be hoping for strong development from McCargo- I think we will see better gap control from the returners anyways.
Good chance Youbouty starts if we lose Clements. I wonder if Gandy and Kiwaukee Thomas return?
And the answer is....NEITHER!!! ding ding ding
He's going to get bounced around like a ball by Baltimore- the Ravens don't play a sissy finesse style. 30-13 Ravens
