  1. Let me guess, you think he's just like Wes Welker, right? He missed the pro bowler because Fairchild schemed against him, unwilling to allow him to make plays
  2. The two parties....err, try the one party which convinces people its two
  3. I love when people waste time pointing fingers at who screwed up, instead of fixing the problem. Typical of dummycrats and re-puke-licans
  4. I don't think our TE's will be studs, but I think they contribute a lot more this season.
  5. They are solid in pass protection, but the RB's really need to get better in picking up the blitz. As far as run blocking, I am sick and tired of seeing our RB's have to break tackles or avoid defenders before crossing the line of scrimmage. That just can't be allowed to happen. Fowler will never be a very good player, which is why he has bounced around the league. Walker is just average
  6. While I agree to a point, sometimes the toughest thing to do is not mess things up. I rate him above Bush, but I really don't like either of them
  7. I would have to say Bruce Smith. Talent-wise, he was above everyone else, and made everyone along the line better. The only other guy I can come up with is Ted Washington and Kent Hull. In TW's first year on the team, three players closest to him ended up topping the century mark in tackles.
  8. While he did run the offense well, you can't really gauge a player by how he practices.
  9. Well, same situation at center- if you want a replacement, you need to be sure he is better. Jauron is doing just fine for what he has to work with
  10. Don't forget that Clinton benefited from the dot com boom- now don't take that as a put down for him- the opportunity presented itself, and he took advantage.
  11. I don' think Bellicheat with his videotape or the real best coach in the NFL- Jeff Fisher could have gotten our team to the playoffs
  12. Both parties are run by extremists- thats the problem. I would vote for some of the people on this board over the three idiots that we are looking at now.........all of whom would do a better job than Bush
  13. Dick Jauron can't win with mediocre teams, it is a fact that the Bills have been mediocre since Rob Johnson led us to our last playoffs spot. New England, San Diego, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Jacksonville and Baltimore are better than us, and I would put Denver and Houston in front of us as well. We have holes on both lines and are counting on a virtual rookie at QB and a rookie at WR. Not to mention that we can't count on blocking from our RB's to keep our offense on the field. It will be another season in the rebuilding process, and if Jauron can squeeze 6-8 wins out of this group, it will be a small miracle. We are headed in the right direction, but we're not playoff caliber yet.
  14. better than Bush isnm't good enough.
  15. and thats only because we foolishly let go up Bledsoe and started him to soon.
  16. People don't care about facts. They just want to twist them and stupid stats so their favorite QB looks good and the other QB looks bad
  17. Wayne Fontes had a similar problem- he played all those QB's because he didn't have one
  18. With all the bad jobs in the league, I think Gary Kubiak is the only genius- he didn't take one until the right job opened. Ask Wade Phillips, Greg Williams and Mike Mularkey what their opinion is on the Buffalo job
  19. To a point, I can agree, but we had a QB with a completely different style going in there- Both QB's are flawed, but both can play at this level.
  20. Even if he won more games- which isn't a stat. He didn't win more games if you actually track it. JP came into the Jets game and got the offense going. Not to say that he should get the starting job- if JP started and Trent came in, you may have seen the offense come alive as well- sometimes changing QB's during a game just changes the flow. Needless to say, both QB's failed last year partly because they are not fully developed, and partly because they played on a bad team.
  21. JP is at least a good backup. In his "big year" he led the team to a decent 7-9 record with a line that had yet to be fixed and few weapons (I think we had an ancient Moulds that year). Last year, he was scattershot with a still weak offensive group. He went into the game against the Jets and jumpstarted the offense. While I am not saying to give him the starting job or even let him compete for it, I will say that he is a competent NFL quarterback. Jerry Sullivan has not shown he is competent at his job
  22. I actually know quite a few liberals who aren't out there. Both sides are a mirror image of each other- I can't stand right or left wing lunatics.
