  1. There are just so many things that can screw up a young QB's development- having Mularkey just made things worse. I hope either Edwards pans out ot JP gets another shot. I don't care who is out there, I just want to stick with a guy and eventually make the playoffs- don't think this is our year though.
  2. JP has had had stretches that he has played well, and stetches that he has been terrible. We drafted him as a guy who wasn't close to ready to play, then he broke his leg when we signed a Dullfin player. Then we put him on the field THAT season when he wasn't even physically ready. He shouldn't have had a significant snap until year three. I look at Dumbahoe and MoronMularkey for prematurely exposing him to failure on what was a terrible team. I am very concerned about Edwards' readiness at this stage of his career- the garbage about you can't develop QB's anymore is a bunch of bunk. I just hope Edwards doesn't end up where JP is now. We have thrown away too many draft picks on the QB position, which is why we are struggling to repair out lines- which are better, but still not great
  3. Is it true that shortly after taking office that Bush met with the Taliban? I was into things more important than politics at that time, so I have no idea if this is true or not.....it was brought up in a discussion today, and I had no response...lol
  4. Has he proved 100% incompetent at anything yet?
  5. Yes, because as we all know, QB's play in a vacuum.
  6. Wrong, we have to clinch playoffs by September 31st or he is a total bust and we need to trade Lynch and Peters for the top pick and draft a QB. Its been 10 years since playoffs, but if it gets to 11 years then the apocalypse will hit, because fans will be upset!
  7. Don't believe everything you hear- I may not agree with everything about McCain, but he could never be nearly as bad as Bush has been.
  8. By the way- he was a backup QB. He was far more than serviceable in his appearances for the Bills. He also was a great aid to Jim Kelly in practice, as JK really struggled to read defenses. Without Reich, who knows how good we would have been.
  9. I don't mean to ba a %^$^$ but man, I remember when I was kid- what the heck happened up there....its sad what has happened to that town
  10. I don't care if the fans don't have patience for a QB to develop, and neither should the front office. The fans will continue to come, like the robots they are. What else is there to do up there other than watch the Bills? Holcomb was a veteran QB at that point. When the fans give up on Edwards, I hope the Bills tell the fans to stick it- literally.....and the fans will still come, because there is nothing else for them to do except play darts
  11. Wrong. The majority of democrats will mindlessly vote for their party's candidate while the majority of republicans will mindlessly vote for theirs. Neither likes to expend energy on critical thought.
  12. It is time to turn the page on the Clinton/Bush regime. 20 years of the dynastic family is more than enough.
  13. Come on, thats just ridiculous. Losman came to the Bills as a 4-5 year project with a lot of talent. While QB's like Garrard and McNair sat the bench their first few years, the Bills foolishly tossed Bledsoe overboard and rushed the guy project in after missing most of his rookie season with a broken leg. Unlike the previously mentioned QB's, Losman was asked to produce early, despite not being ready. We should have sucked it up, kept Bledsoe and let JP sit the bench. By the way, Moulds hasn't has a productive season in quite some time and Parrish is a punt returner who occasionally will make a play on offense. Soon, everyone will be calling for Edwards head, despite the fact he shouldn't have even sniffed the field yet. I guess Bills fans tend to be bored, and need change in the starting lineup and roster to stay entertained............. Two good young quarterbacks gone to waste, what a shame. By the way, Flutie didn't win those games- the best defense in the NFL did. Flutie did for our offense what Trent Dilfer did for Baltimore- provided a stabilizing veteran presence.
  14. Who hasn't failed in Buffalo? It is the failure capital. Lee Evans failed last year too. Greg Williams failed, Mike Mularkey failed, Tom Donahoe failed, Steve Fairchild failed. Rob Johnson failed, Doug Flutie failed, Todd Collins failed, Billy Joe Hobert failed. Maybe it is the Bills that are the common thread in the failures.
  15. Not to mention that a new CBA will b e negotiated- both sides would be wise to wait
  16. Sounds realistic. I am very concerned about the division- there is no way NY or Miami is as bad as last year- we still may be better than both, but it will be hard to sweep them again
  17. Does the son know that he screwed up? If not, thats a sure sign that he may be in worse shape than his father
  18. Have to say I'm impressed. Although I really think John Kerry was an idiot even before he allowed the Clintons to "aid" his campaign
  19. Edwards has a handful of games and is counting on a rookie WR? I hope he can match last year's success and continue developing. Stroud was a very good DT- I hope he still is. Ppoz will turn into a studd, but I doubt this year. I hope Lynch doesn't have to evade unblocked defenders as much as last year
  20. You had one DL, one LB, and one DB, which doesn't make any of those overall units too solid. My point is that the Bills don't have any standout units on their team- they really need to start focusing on something.
  21. And anyways, he didn't tell us anything that we didn't already believe/disbelieve regardless of what side of the fence we were on.
  22. I am going Jason Peters- Top 5 (at least) Left tackle Rian Lindell- Top 5 kicker Brian Moorman- top 5 punter Marshawn Lynch- top 10 RB (at least) Lee Evans- top 15 WR OK, now here is my problem. Two of our top guys are the kicker/punter, and only one is on defense. If you play the field position game, you need a dominant defense. We have one offensive and one defensive lineman listed, which does not make for strong lines. We have one WR, and no help for him. Lynch is an absolute stud, but he has had to elude defenders in the backfield on a regular basis. JP has shown an incredible penchant for the dramatic in the 4th quarter, but has too many failures because we started a project QB after less than a year of experience. Now we are making the same mistake with another promising QB. Jauron has been here two years- he and Levy has made a lot out of this mish mosh of a mess that he has inherited.
