Despite what I said about the Steelers, I do think our offense is better- Trent looked like he knew where he was going with the ball most of the time- the hesitation was pretty much gone. We still need Peters. I think Robert Royal will have a career year- not an all-pro year, but the best season he's had so far. Maybe 5-6 TD's

As many people here know, I also follow the Browns, so I end up seeing a lot of steeler games (unfortunately). I am not saying that I didn't enjoy our offensive success- I actually really did. What I am saying is to take it for what it is worth. I was thrilled with our defensive success more than offensive- that is quite an offensive unit that Pittsburgh has- with a blue chip QB, great WRs/TEs and some really good RBs. Blocking isn't what it was in their days with Cowher, but it is a very good offensive unit.

I am not so sure about that- Philly probably isn't a playoff team either. The AFC is just so loaded with New England, Indy, and San Diego on top, and Cleveland, Jacksonville and possibly Houston close behind. I put Houston ahead of Pittsburgh- better defense and better backup QB. If Rothlisberger goes down, pukesburgh is shot. Sage Rosenfels is one of the best backups in the league

I am undecided on Fairchild, and at this point, I don't care if he was the problem or not. I still don't think our line is good enough. Walker will only be a serviceable tackle at best and Fowler just isn't good enough at center and never will be. The jury is out on Butler. We focused on the offensive line just one offseason in the last 10+ years, and that can't happen if you want to succeed

I have a close family member (and I choose not to say who) who is dealing with two terminal illnesses. It is amazing what dealing with that can do to the surrounding family. While I don't condone what Edwards did, it doesn't surprise me, nor do I condemn him for it. Watching a loved one fade away like that takes a lot out of you, and can lead you to some very bad decisions

I don't think Wilson is going to be making any more hasty moves with the coaching staff. As far as Edwards playing the whole game- I doubt it really would benefit him to have success against another team's scrubs. He can do that for the next few weeks in practice
