  1. He was the greatest special teams players ever. He was not one of the greatest players in the history of the league. I have to say no.
  2. Meeting does not mean conceding anything- meeting with our enemies could benefit Israel
  3. Who is worse- the idiots that vote for Obama, or the idiots who vote for McCain.....I say push
  4. Schobel is a very good DE, but is is definitely not a stud. People think he is, but he is the best we have
  5. talk radio is for idiots
  6. Oh, you mean bump him.....I'd hate to see Chad blown up
  7. Although I think Lynch has more power once he gets going, I think Jackson has a better burst. Since our line can't run block, that may be a big factor
  8. Just like there was 4 and 8 years ago If General Powell is ok with him, then I guess he isn't so bad. Powell is the only person from the current regime with the decency to walk out. McCain or Obama would be better
  9. 1. Isn't Youbouty injured? And McKelvin is as green as a rookie could be. Maybe you would have him go bring back Nate Odomes or Thomas Smith. You have what you have, and the coaches know that better than some guy sitting on a couch eating 500 wings that are dripping with grease. 2. So Dick Jauron should go away from letting Schonert call plays, despite the fact that it helped lead us to five wins in the first six games. 3. I don't know how much Fewell works on his tackling, but I didn't notice him missing one. Our personnel on the d-line isn't too good, and guys tend to wear down over the course of a game. I wish we had Miami's line- they have it over us at every position but LT, and until Peters gets back to form, they may be better there as well. 4. Penalties happen when you are being outplayed. He got an extension, because he has gotten the team heading in the right direction. He took over a perennial loser and is just in his third year. If you want knee jerk reactions, go cheer for Dallas or Oakland
  10. I pretty much agree- the offensive line, particularly center and right tackle need to get better. Peters needs to return to form, if not improve on how he played last year. As far as the D-line, Schobel and Stroud are very good players, but we need 1-2 game changers on the line. Something I am concerned about is Edwards- I did not get to see the game, I had to listen to it on my XM, but he seemed a bit slow in making decisions at times (correct me if I am wrong). Derek Anderson is just getting back to normal now after being rushed back from his concussion. Also, it is one game, and Miami was a much better team than people gave them credit for
  11. The defense didn't turn over the ball four times in one quarter...five if you count the safety
  12. 1. Wrong- it doesn't come down to one player. EVER. Our offensive and defensive lines are soft. We win by scheming, and that wont get you far 2. Pennington was the best thing to happen to Miami from the day the got him. He has more between his ears than Favre ever had or will have.
  13. just board the plane and come home......forget this game
  14. Before I go on and give my opinions, let me they that any life lost is a horrible thing- I am sorry for your losses. Now- how do you really fight terrorism? Do you fight them with military- which is really throwing their own tactics back at them......they dehumanize us, we dehumanize them. The thing is, we have to recruit people over there, and battle the ideology, not the people. The terrorists are being sold false ideas on their religion- continuing to kill them over there does nothing but get them (and us) to buy into those false ideals even more. What WE did in those terror prisons is unconscionable and WAS NOT an isolated incident, it was not the actions of a few- it was the premeditated actions of our current regime- The kind of thinking that made Colin Powell rethink being part of that group. I respect McCain, I value his service to the country, and I truly hope he serves in the senate for a long time. I think Bob Barr is a much better candidate, and McCain may have come across as a better candidate if he were an independent.
  15. We aren't in the playoffs yet, but I will say we are ahead of my predicted schedule. The coaching staff has done a masterful job of covering deficiencies on both lines and inexperience at QB
  16. It wasn't good when the Republicans had the power, it won't be good if the democrats have the majority....oh wait, thats the same party with a different name
  17. Yes, we should pander to the crowd that thinks the world revolves around them........
  18. Dick Jauron is an organizer and a delegator. When you are losing, those are bad qualities, but when you win, they are good qualities.
  19. To be honest, I don't want to see her in the White House. She just doesn't appear to be ready at this point. Maybe someday she will be. She strikes me as a decent person, even if I don't agree with her on all issues. She is just being torn apart right now, like anyone else in her position would be.
  20. Personally, stats are meaningless unless you play fanyasty football, and if you do, you probably don't know much about football. I'd like to see the offensive and defensive lines strengthened in the offseasons, but we are doing very well for so young a team. Remember, we have to fire Jauron or some people will get bored.
  21. Wow- you'd make a real good radio guy......you are another Mike Schopp
  22. I think it has a lot to do with the line- there may be a cutback lane, but with the decelleration, then re-acceleration of cutting back, you may end up with less yards, because the lane probably won't be sustained long enough- or he just doesn't have confidence that it will be. I really think that the offensive and defensive lines will be a focal point this offseason. We are a couple OLs and DL's away from being a top team....I just hope Edwards recovers from the concussion
