  1. Not too surprising with Manning's improvement......people always think the hot coordinator will make a great head coach
  2. You couldn't find enough money to get me to leave where I am now!
  3. A lot of times I disagree with you, but I agree comletely with this- why change coaches if you aren't sure its an upgrade? I'll add to that too- everybody is always looking for the hot coordinator, but there is a big problem with that. It takes a completely different skill set to be a coordinator than it takes to be a head coach. Coordinators deal mainly in X's and O's. Head coaches are less analytical, dealing with people and some game situations. One of their major roles is planning out practice- sometimes down to the minute. At this point, I am not for a change- if we had to change coaches, I would not be for Spagnuolo or Lebeau (who would never come back after his first stint here). I would be for UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel.
  4. Not many people were too high on Reagan's acting career, but look how he turned out- not to say that Frankin will follow suit. Never saw any of his movies, but I thought he did well for himself in the Genesis video lol
  5. I like what I've see from the South Florida kid. A bit undersized (unless I am confusing him with someone else)
  6. No, he stunk because the stench of where he was rubbed off on him- THAT'S why he stunk. Because Buffalo stinks
  7. Proposition 8 is stupid.....forget constitutionality. Bunch of overjudicious jerks....as Coach Levy would say!
  8. I am starting a site- firefirejauron.com
  9. Yep, and if we bring this group back next year, we may even push .500..........they aren't good enough!
  10. Yes, I mean that one. If a decent performance every few weeks makes you happy, more power to you. If we put up 50+ points against KC with an orange cone at QB, would you want to put an orange cone out there every week?
  11. Add 3 DE's, 2 DT's, 1 OT, 1 C and 1 OG. The other positions are style over substance. Get some zone blocking for Lynch and you won't need much else.
  12. Don't worry- they may sign Kelsay and Denney first along with our wonderful offensive line
  13. Can I assess a windfall tax? I could use the extra $$$$
  14. While the defense is better than the offense, I would not call it good. The line is terrible, which hurts everything behind it. It is well coached, not good.
  15. Then start taxing foreign based energy sources (ie: oil)....when hit with a hot poker, most americans will change. Many can be changed just by putting up billboards that say "Big=Bad" Yes, many are that easy to influence as they can't think for themselves- these are the type you need to pass laws for, so they don't smother themselves by sleeping face down
  16. Unless demand stimulates the economy, there will be no windfall to tax.....I think.....
  17. I am not knowledgeable enough about the goings-on in the region to know if that would be a possibility or not. I have heard this brought up before by Biden, but wouldn't the desire to control the oil short circuit this attempt?
  18. I am not majorly in favor of anything that will just affect next year- gotta think long term. Now, if you are looking at keeping him long term and being successful by giving him a dominant offensive and defensive line, then I am fine with that
  19. And I am also for bringing back the dreaded bell shaped curve......forget self esteem- let the best rise to the top and the rest fall to the bottom.
  20. Exactly- and we can keep the billions of dollars going overseas for oil! WE should have looked into producing our own energy a long time ago! Thanks Bushes and Clintons!
  21. A friend of mine who lives over there and wants to come back over here was horrified when we brought the war over there- he said that it was exactly what Al Quaeda wanted- to fight us over there and to have us set up democracies that can't stand without our protection. Sometimes I think it would have been better to help them set up the theocracy they wanted- one that could stand without us there to protect it.
  22. I'd say Buffalo Bills quarterbacks have been pretty injury prone over the last decade......comes from having bad OL's, I guess
  23. OK, now for a serious answer- fans can't make decisions, because you can't please all of them....everyone would want something different, and then you'd end up with a compromise that wouldn't work out well. Thats why you hire a football guy as GM and stay out of the way. Fans should be in the stands having a good time and making all the knee jerk reactions they want
  24. Ah, I've been called worse.....and I completely understand that things like this incite very emotional opinions. I knew from the beginning that the shoe throwing incident went too far, but I can't understand how anyone would condone the way he was beaten senseless- I even saw a post saying he deserved it- nobody deserves that. Actually- I talked to a close friend who comes from the middle east- he told me the reports of shoe throwing being the biggest insult are incorrect- according to him its taking off your shoe and showing the bottom.
