I've never officiated football, but as a former umpire, I will say they blew the call- blown calls happen, but the NFL has instant replay- so this is on the competition committee. Unfortunately the NFL's version of instant replay is more for entertainment value than anything else- coaches should never have anything to do with officiating. Just one of many things that the NFL got wrong.

There is no way to tell on that play- and I don't fault the officials at all. Based on replay, the call wouldn't have been overturned either way

The Patriots, Jets and Dolphins all have solid lines. The Patriots are the strongest overall- don't get your hopes up. We are the worst overall, by far

Time and surrounding talent tend to skew perspective........I can only imagine if Donovan McNabb played on a team with some offensive talent other than just Westbrook. Having the QB run his WR's open instead of them running routes to get open seems dumb to me

He is a very good QB. Take away his primary weapon and he isn't as good. He took them to the superbowl championship, then followed by leading them to the top seed in the NFC. The Eagles are playing head and shoulders above anyone right now. The Giants got manhandled at the line of scrimmage, and Manning's play reflected that

I watched it- they run every once in awhile, but they don't have an effective grind it out offense. They are the Houston Oilers with talented WR's. I don't respect their offense

Some people just get mesmerized by the talking heads on the radio and in the paper. Remember- Dan Wilkinson was a bust....despite playing in the league for over a decade

The situation gets worse by the day- Call me paranoid, but I think this has the makings of World War III written all over it.....as it escalates, Iran will get involved as they hate Israel....we will get involved as an ally of Israel and that will bring Russia in on Iran's side. Actually, if Dan Marino had the San Francisco defense, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones, and the rest of that group, people would be putting him well ahead of Joe Montana. Dan Marino was a more talented QB than Montana was. Montana was in a better situation and made the most of it.
