  1. Schopp is very intelligent, but that doesn't cut it on plebian talk radio
  2. He looks like what? While he's on the radio. Sorry, he is rude and cuts people off. If you think he speaks his opinion, you are foolish- he is a different person when he has a national audience. He says whatever he thinks will incite the plebeians (look it up). The people at WGR suck, just like Jim Rome. Face it, you are FOX or CNN, I am CSPAN. But heck, at least I give you something to look up to.
  3. As I said- if we stand pat in the first round, I go DT twice, unless Maulaluga falls to us. I don't go OT on the first day unless maybe we package Jackson (since we have Rhodes) with the 11th pick and maybe Parrish and send him to Cleveland for the fifth and take either Eugene Monroe or Jason Smith (I think thats his name from Baylor). I wouldn't take Oher on the first day of the draft- nor would I take him before Lang. I think there are a lot of second day value picks at guard I am not so high on Ayers, Oropko or any of the other top DE names.....but again, thats just me.
  4. You can't fix things by killing education- beyond losing young minds that may help prevent a mess like this from happening again, what about the teachers and staff that also would be joining the ranks of the unemployed? This would make a bad situation worse
  5. If we bring in Unger or Oher and expect them to start, we will go through 15 QB's. T.J. Lang from Eastern Michigan would be a value pick in the third round- I don't see Monroe or Smith falling to us. If we could create a package deal to move up and get Raji with our first pick, then grab Peria Jerry with our late 1st round pick, the duo could join Stroud and really create a position of strength for that team. Under that scenario, Schobel could start lining up wider than usual and really tee off. It could even make Denney or Kelsay serviceable. Calvin Darrity from NC could be a prohect at guard as could Jamon Meredith
  6. its a new-fangled way- thats my word for the day Is there an old-fangled way, or maybe even a fangled way?
  7. Peters will be an all pro in that new-fangled zone blocking offense that has been used by NFL teams since over the past few decades instead of the antiquated system that will amount to less in Buffalo, N.Y. than the red brick road that people drive down on Niagara Falls BLVD near Main Street......
  8. Of the guys you mentioned, I would only take Raji.....very overrated DE/OLB class. I will LOVE to get Raji and Jerry
  9. *We "sniffed" the playoffs a few time- our QB and line let us dowm *No he shouldn't- his organization is the only reason we managed to win 7 games with our dearth of talent *They can select talent, but it takes more than that- it has to fit together somehow *The Eagles know what they are doing- he will thrive in their zone blocking scheme *Agreed on player swapping *Everyone already realizes that *The PR guy is just doing his job when he does that
  10. Its one thing to poke fun at such things on a message board, but it absolutely stunned me that a man like Jindahl would make the volcano monitoring comment without doing his homework first. That was embarrassing.
  11. And Ayers is just another of the very overrated DE's in this year's class
  12. Earth, Texas, is a nice little town.
  13. Thank you- I'll have to check it out when I get the chance.
  14. I really think that Peria Jerry will surprise a lot of people- maybe not his first year, but I think he is a stud- he was the main reason Ole Miss had the best D-line in football last season.
  15. People in this country tend to be stupid sheep. They aren't really taught much about Hitler or Nazi Germany- nor are they taught about all of the German attempts to assassinate him....basically Nazi's and Germans are lumped into one homogenous group by our history classes- the same classes that teach that Nixon was impeached,
  16. I would be surprised- when people are on nationally, they tend to act different. Pandering to the angry, stupid Buffalo mob wouldn't make sense when you have a national audience. He does what he does to sell papers, case closed.
  17. Ok, we should put one good season at the college level ahead of the fact that he only managed to be a regular at that level for 1 year......his coaches were dead wrong- he should have been playing the other three. The coaches have been cheating this Jerry Rice in waiting his whole life- they just don't like him. OK
  18. He is worth more as a punt returner than we would get in return
  19. Funny, he was pretty average at University of Miami too. He's not that good. He really, really isn't
  20. He's a decent 4th WR at best and a great punt returner. He will never be an offensive playmaker- not in college, not in the pros
  21. Before his injury he had the potential to contribute on offense.
  22. To be honest, I was more impressed with Yonel Jourdain before his injury than I am with Parrish
