  1. How do you define poorly coached? Is Jauron a tactical master? Probably not. Does he get a lot out of the sad bunch he gets? absolutely. He shouldn't have final say in personnel or anything close to it, but thats a front office problem.
  2. I hate to say it, but there is a lot of truth in what was said. Jauron is an easy scapegoat, but the problem goes much deeper. Bad drafts and years of neglect of both lines have made shambles of the team. Oh, we always have a shiny new QB, and buffalo fans always fall for shiny things. Our best lineman over the past few years has been Schobel and he is comparable to the vastly underrated Mark Pike (and anyone who considers that an insult is a too new a fan to remember). Stroud was a good pickup, but he needed help. WE keep focusing on fluff like Owens and more DB's.....the meat and potatoes of the offensive line and defensive line wins games- Jacksonville has a good shot in their division this year. At this time next year, everyone will be salivating over our first round QB.
  3. I don't want the government to have any more power over me than the private sector does.
  4. They are a mob and can't think for themselves.....what else is new
  5. The shouldn't have to shut up any more than the moderates do- their votes count just as much, regardless of how annoying many of us find them to be.
  6. We don't have to go with the far left's solution- but they deserve to be heard just as much as the far right- who should be heard as well. The terms liberal and conservative never should have been demonized either...but alas, we live in a country where the average attention span is 5 minutes and maturity level is 5 years old
  7. I prefer orcs and hobgoblins to trolls
  8. Bush screwed a lot of things up, but to be honest (and I won't lower myself to being a dummycrat or re-puke-lickin), I don't care who did what- we have to fix the problems.
  9. I remember we had to put Cornelius Bennett on Johnny Johnson, because we couldn't stop him in the passing game....scoreboard went out from the cold....if I remember correctly.
  10. It sounds like both could have started out the exchange better- neither is the good guy in this case
  11. We need a running game....Owens is a good player when he isn't causing problems, but the O-line is much more important
  12. I normally visit the doctor twice a year at most- this past year, while dealing with higher than usual stress levels on the job as well as my father going through the final stages of cancer, I got sick more often, dealt with a messed up sciatic nerve nerve and it eventually caused insomnia- a really bad case of it. Sometimes you have to go more than you normally do.
  13. Maybe you can get some of the stimulus money! Ok, funny, but not really funny!
  14. While that may be true up to a point- the healthcare system is broken- and "both sides" want it fixed....I put both sides in quotes, since we really have one party that divides its lemming followers
  15. I can agree with you on that point, but one way or another it has to get started and the transition won't be easy
  16. Yeah, if he doesn't help out your fantasy team, he is worthless......why both to fix the offensive line You are comparing apples and oranges- Evans is a deep threat, Owens is more of a possession guy, despite the fact that he can get deep at times. An Owens type WR will always have more catches and more TD's. People hate Owens because he is an attention monger that will sacrifice the good of the team to get the spotlight on himself. He is a problem, but the 24/7 media that fans justify adds to the problem. He is a very good WR, but is on the downside of his career- he will do well for the 15 QB's that throw to him this year. Moulds was pretty good as well.
  17. I don't think the plan is what will solve the problem- you have to get something in place and then work to improve it. While socialism isn't something that is good for the entire country's economy, it does have its place- it shouldn't have been demonized the way it has been. Capitalism doesn't solve all problems and isn't appropriate for all forums- paying doctors per procedure is the incorrect way to go about things. I agree with Obama about using the Cleveland Clinic as a model- that won;t solve everything either- solutions don't just appear- you have to be patient and able to adjust to new problems that crop up.
  18. Anytime somebody does something stupid, it is because of their political affiliation, not because they are stupid........Gotta love America.....
  19. Not to mention that Reed is better than Johnson
  20. I'm not against what you are saying- just saying that its easier said than done
  21. He was unstoppable. If they "allowed" him in the NFL, he would put up a zillion yards and a zillion touchdowns! If the thing about him being small worked, other teams would bring in smurfs to play QB. We never did anything when we had him- and no, making the playoffs isn't doing much of anything.
