  1. The people who thought Obama would be a magic solution are delusional. The people who voted for him on the fact that he would be better than Bush got just that....then again, you could say the same for McCain, Palin, and the pencil sitting on my desk.
  2. Substitute that with a slur aimed at somebody else and see what happens. Americans are very selective at who it is ok to offend.
  3. But the fact is, we should have signed him a long time ago- and my frustrations with this extend to them foolishly letting Winfield, Pat Williams and Drew Bledsoe go as well- if we kept all those players, we would be a playoff contender. But instead.....
  4. No- you have to be a hypocrite to be a democrat and a republican (oops, freudian slip) and thats most of what America is....a bunch of dumb sheep.
  5. We had a LT, but the fair weather fans were offended that he didn't expounds on the glories of wonderful Buffalo and actually wanted to be paid
  6. Wrong- Buffalo fans hate him, because he speaks the truth, just like Mortensen
  7. The problem lies above the coaches head, not with the coach. I don't expect fans to be smart enough to realize that though
  8. If Jauron is given too much power, it is due to the dysfunctional nature of the organization. We don't need to get rid of Jauron- we need change at the very top (president of Operations) and if that person wants a new coach, that is fine. I am against just bringing in a new coach to lose int he same environment
  9. Sure- the design is attractive and earns them money. The optimal design would be a transparent bubble with inside padding behind the head to prevent hyper extending leading to broken necks. The transparent bubbles would be attached to the shoulder pads and have no handles- which would eliminate the facemasking completely and prevent collisions from causing abrupt movements to the head. Of course, this won't happen, as the NFL is completely about short term profiit and marketing. If you don't believe me, just ask Jerry Jones- he not only wants revenue sharing gone, he had a QB with a bad grade 2 concussion play in a superbowl.....
  10. Current NFL helmets are the reason for all of the brain injuries- but as long as NFL marketing can line their pockets, they couldn't care less. The uniforms are about the all-mighty dollar, not player safety at all. The design is HORRIBLY flawed
  11. We have fielded a pretty competitive defense with inferior players to the rest of the league for the last four years. I think Jauron and Fewell have a pretty good grasp What qualifies you to judge that more than anyone else. And we have fired plenty of OC's the last few years that have performed very well in real football towns. Don't blame Jauron for personnel aquisition- that is a front office job Well, Mr. Selective- Ryan had his team do all those nice things against us, but the turnovers had nothing to do with our coaching. Get your head out of the sand
  12. No- he would have been surrounded by garbage here
  13. 1. Do we win or Lose? Lose 2. Fitz over or under 225 yards? About 260 3. Will Fitz have 2 or more TD's? No 4. Will we have a 100 yard rusher? No, both will have about 70 yards 5. Do either of WR's have a 100 yard game (or both)? No 6. Bills 20+ points scored? No 7. Bills 20+ points allowed? Yes 8. Will we give up more than 3 sacks: Yes 9. Will we have less than 4 penalites: No 10. Miscellaneious prediction: Lynch will have 2 TD's but less yards than Jackson
  14. Roscoe Parrish is an awful football player- he's not in the same league as Josh Reed....unless all you care about is excitement and fluff
  15. Our players for the most part are either not very good or hurt. I wish Roscoe Parrish was never even drafted. 6 interceptions in a game isn't a fluke.
  16. I disagree. Despite his struggles this year, Delhomme is much better than any QB we have had since Bledsoe (who was released because of whiny fans). Carolina is better along the offensive and defensive line than we are, and half our defense is hurt. KC is much better than you think- I have seen them a couple times this year and although I thought Cassel was going to suck away from New England, I have to admit, I was wrong- he's the best thing they have on their improving team. I don't think we sweep NY and we will lose to Miami again. Until we get the franchise in order, it doesn't matter if we have Jauron or bring Hank Bullough back.
  17. If you don't think the Bills are trying to win, you are crazy. The defense played out of their minds on Sunday- despite missing a bunch of players, they had 6 int's. Thats playing hard and that's coaching- it sure isn't talent.....
  18. I sure hope he does save Jauron's job, because that means we are winning
  19. I am not arguing about the government agencies- I am just saying there is no hope at all- from either side.....we are all going down the tubes together and are going to argue about it the whole way
  20. I see no real reason to cut back on malpractice suits- the concept of not doing that seems alien to me
  21. Fewell's defense has generated a bunch of turnovers despite horrendous injuries at LB and DB and a dearth of talent on the line. Maybe you think he should use action figures? Van Pelt has been on the job for less than 2 months.
  22. The private sector doesn't care about the customers either, they care about making a profit at the customers expense and hiding it with fancy commercials which confuse the issue. Nobody cares about anybody, the government and private sector care about wealth and power.
  23. You also need to have your head checked if you want a for-profit agency looking out for your well-being. Face it, nobody cares about the citizens- not the elected officials and not the private sector.
