  1. Its not easy to know where that line is, but when guessing, you HAVE to be right. Nobody said it was easy. And if you wind up on either side of that line, its a disaster, one way or the other.
  2. If Shanahan does come in, I could see him giving JP a shot. JP is a lesser version of Jake Plummer- who wasn't great either.
  3. Without getting too technical, they all strive for the same thing and all have strength and weaknesses- the label capitalism doesn't make things all well and good, while socialism doesn't make things bad. The sports industry at all levels is pure socialism- does its success mean that socialism is good for everything? Absolutely not. Every political and economic system will eventually break down because people are inherently bad. In socialism, things will become too bureaucratic, in capitalism, people in the private sector become too greedy. There are many ways to properity, but ruin and depression are inevitable. What happened in Russia is an example of socialism/communism going bad and things like Bernie Madoff, Enron and its like are an example of capitalism gone bad. Neither is an aberration. Bottom line, you are doomed no matter what route you go
  4. Chancellor Palpetine disputes that
  5. Get over the Bills not being good
  6. If you accidentally kill somebody, they still are dead
  7. While I ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer, I do realize that the concept does work in given situations. Problem is that each side gets so shot in the butt with what they believe works, they lose site of the big picture. There are good concepts to be taken from capitalism, socialism, fascism and other systems. If you truly want properity, nothing should be demonized- as all systems have proven viable. Its the idiots running the systems that cause the problems- not the systems themselves
  8. And you know something funny- the world wouldn't end in that scenerio- just like it didn't when a republican or conservative was in control, despite the doomsayers. I haven't heard from anyone on either side of the aisle that is for protectionism- ever. Both sides are for wealth redistribution, but conservatives call it trickle down. There is nothing wrong with apologizing if you do something wrong- but you can't invent things to be wrong. There is no better place to live, but if you can't find anything to criticize about it, you don't really care about it in most cases.
  9. I would prefer John Fox, but he wouldn't come here either
  10. Thank you, but actually, the proper terms are foreign and domestic. If you want to bring religious beliefs into the discussion, there are some things that people from this country will find offensive
  11. I don't care who the coach is- the head coach has never been a problem over the last 15 years. Levy, Phillips, WIlliams, Mularkey and Jauron all know football. VP of operations and GM have been the problem- and their lack of ability to aquire talented players. Unless we fix that, we are spinning our wheels. Belicheck couldn't win with this Mickey Mouse operation
  12. I think I need more butter-flavored chemicals in my popcorn- this is getting good,
  13. On another note, I like how the politicians have associated something negative with being a flip flopper and the lemmings have added that to their daily arsenals. On the other hand, I always thought it was good to learn things and adjust
  14. Maybe if the term redistribution was repackaged as trickle down, you'd get that warm fuzzy feeling.
  15. After living in NYS for 20 years, I enjoyed being around those ignorant back woods rednecks in Mississippi- they actually were friendlier than the people I grew up with. Pretty smart too- sorry, I know that doesn't fit the stereotype
  16. According to history, no. Neither Lincoln nor Washington would have sent our troops their, but it has been so long since we have had a president of that caliber.
  17. This is stupid.....never should have gone there in the first place.......
  18. People that equate terrorists to muslims are idiots.
  19. I think he's stay in the NFL instead
  20. You enjoy mediocrity....Go Schobel, Go Poz!
  21. We wouldn't beat KC if it were a home game- they are much better than we are
  22. Yes, what the coach says to the sheep on tv really matters
  23. No. The problems with Republicans is that they lie too much, claiming to be conservatives. They are slightly less liberal than many democrats. And I don't say that necessarily in a bad way- it is just the truth
  24. If you coached an untalented group like this, we wouldn't even have a tackle. Fewell has done a good job with the group of scrubs (ie: Schobel, Denney, Kelsey, Williams, Poz, Elisson, etc...) he has been given. And if I hear another thing about how great the holy Schobel is, it just shows how into mediocrity Buffalo fans have become.
  25. I would jump for joy if we got Schottenheimer. His lack of success in the postseason is very overblown- it is due to the fact that he overachieved during the regular season with subpar talent
