  1. Yeah, moving the other team 15 yards with a 1st down when we don't have players that can score or stop the other team isn't a probem at all
  2. He better be, cause nothing else we have is good enough. I said last year we needed to draft Peria Jerry. Both lines have been putrid for years
  3. Trent was fine when he got here, but he has regressed because of the worst OL in history and subpar offensive weapons
  4. When I coached fastpitch, my 7 hole hitter outperformed the top three in the lineup and always complained about batting 7th. I told her she is a 7 hole hitter and they are top 3 hitters. Stroud is an NFL caliber starter consistently and they aren't. We need more quality and more depth, because our line is terrible. We haven't had a quality starter at end since Phil Hansen
  5. Remember- last year the simpletons said that adding Stroud would magically fix everything and that all you need is one NFL caliber DT. Spencer Johnson and Kyle Williams are back ups in this league
  6. I don't understand why marriage has to exist at all. Aside from tax benefits, what is the real value?
  7. We would have been a better team if the money given to Owens went to someone else that we already had......cough cough Trent was a good young QB, if he can get back to that is anyone's guess
  8. You aren't an idiot. You just have an opinion that is different from the norm. I sure hope you never lose the right to have that opinion, because the oversized government has stepped in
  9. I say the same about the other QB's you mentioned and I include Kelly's last couple years in that list. JP Losman looked at one time like a QB capable of leading fourth quarter comebacks, having done it numerous times. Then he took way too many hits and was done. I feel that Rob Johnson came here as a very talented but flawed quarterback, but horribly regressed. Add to that, the list of offensive coordinators that failed here, but went on to great success elsewhere- Bruce Arians, Kevin Gilbride and Dan Henning all come to mind.
  10. This IS typical NFL. Remember when the NFL said no to Peyton Manning on wearing the high tops to honor Johnny Unitas? Roger Goodell is a terrible commissioner and is the biggest violator of his own conduct policy. He may be one of the worst commissioners in the history of sport
  11. Wow, you caught me on that one! That might be the funniest mistake on the board in quite awhile!!
  12. Wrong. He didn't have enough time to do both well at the same time.
  13. Homo Sapien Sapien will remain the minority- white isn't a race, it is a skin color, but not a race.
  14. Erica Hill on cnn....never knew the name till now
  15. Three straight losses to Cleveland.......
  16. Nuclear, solar, wind and water power are all far less limited than fossil fuels. I laugh at the democrats that want to use "clean coal" since there is no such thing. Why the transition to nuclear energy didn't begin years ago is beyond me.
  17. Yeah, we really need to get rid of the marketing guy!!!!! Just like we needed to fire Wade Phillip's special team's coach way back when...lets fire the ticket takers too!!! Lets do whatever the short-sighted fans want, that'll make the team better quick....its worked so well the past decade. Fans are there to collect money from and sit in seats clapping their hands like they are trained to do.
  18. Its true- the majority of americans just look at how things are now and can't think long term. Being angry is the american way- why else would talk radio ratings be so high- in my line of work "If it bleeds, it leads" is a way of life.
  19. I think its a matter of biting the bullet and taking short term losses, to cut our long term losses. Its just a matter of what is more important- getting re-elected or fixing the economy. Doing the right thing, probably means not getting re-elected
  20. While the email situation looks very bad, I wouldn't call it a deciding factor. As I said before, there is a lot of convincing evidence both ways and I don't have the scientific background to decipher a lot of it. I do, however, think that it would benefit our economy to shift away from overusing limited resources and importing foreign oil and shift towards resources that have far fewer limits. I would like to see a mandate on reducing imported oil, to force this shift. The money could be better used elsewhere- ANYWHERE!
