  1. The head coach is supposed to be the CEO of the coaching staff/players, not the architect of the offense
  2. I consider him the best defensive mind I have ever seen. He was great in Buffalo, San Diego, Denver and now Dallas- I believe all those teams made playoffs with him at t he helm. The Cowboys might be moving towards the Superbowl I think we at least win the first and last superbowls with him as the defensive coordinator or head coach. You have to wonder what Darryl Talley would have been like in the prime of his career if Wade had been here back then. Wade seens his players as weapons to attack with, rather than pieces of a defense to slow down the other team, like what Walt Corey did. Sure wish we never made the mistake of telling him who he could/couldn't have on his staff.......
  3. Absolutely- when is the last time a non-democrat/republican won that seat?
  4. A friend of mine told me he drives safer when on it....not sure I buy that.
  5. I've heard both sides of the argument and I haven't read up enough on it to have a real opinion either way.
  6. Welcome to America.....politics as usual
  7. OK, what do you consider innovative then? Throwing on first down (not innovative), practicing on the moon (not practical), throwing tons of screen passes (not innovative), drafting well (teams do this all the time). Please tell me what you consider innovative and why he could be a good coach elsewhere, but not here. If thats the case, maybe the Bills need to make some changes- so guys like that could do well here.
  8. Was Marv Levy an inspired hire when the move was made? Was Joe Torre an inspired hire in NY when it happened? Give the guy a chance- you can win without getting the guy you have heard of
  9. If the NFL fails, the draft will become illegal
  10. I am not ok with those tactics from either side....unfortunately, the majority of this country is stupid and likes being pandered to, because they have been pandered to their entire life. That's why we have gone soft.
  11. I like Roos and Chester Pitts for the offensive line. I wouldn't mind bring in batch at QB- he can be a short term guy, like Garcia has been around the league, while we fix the worst offensive and defensive lines in the league. Pickett and Jolly are capable defensive linemen- if we can get VandenBosch, it would be a major signing, as I think he has quite a bit left.
  12. If we got Suh, I would be ecstatic, but the goal is to be four deep at starting caliber DT's, we still need more. You have to be that deep, as offenses are relying on more passing and further outside the offensive tackle box, which will wear the DL out more than in the past. Currently, we are not good enough on the defensive line, regardless of what the homers think about Aaron Schobel- he has often been compared to Phil Hansen, but I think he is closer to Jim Jeffcoat. And to those who think that is a slight to Schobel, I say this- LEARN YOUR FOOTBALL! If the opportunity to work on the defensive and offensive lines presents itself, I lean towards the defensive side of the ball, as that is not a strength, but it is closer to being a strength than the offensive side of the ball. You win in this league by being good at something, not ok at everything
  13. Fans would have hated him, just as they ran Jason Peters, Ruben Brown, Dusty Zeigler and Glen Parker out of town......that would be a pretty good offensive line!
  14. But being a small market team, how will they pay everyone- you can't just let everyone go, then start over when the lockout is over.
  15. I really do hear what you are saying, and I am not against taking power away from the government- be it state or federal. What I am COMPLETELY against is giving any type of power to religion. We have enough zealots in this country already and power corrupts.....just allow them to marry- its really not a big deal and doesn't affect anyone. Once they are allowed to marry, the issue will go away and we will never have to hear about it again
  16. And the smart people will be left out in the cold........
  17. I suppose you like listening to talk radio- not an insult, just an observation. Don't worry about the Bills leaving- a more legitimate concern is what happens in the case of a lockout, as they might not survive
  18. How do you know what players to look at, without knowing who the coach is?
  19. Yes, it was one person on forums.twobillsdive.com that put Obama in the white house. DOn't blame the people who nominated John McCain as the republican candidate- they had nothing to do with it at all.........
  20. How did his replacement do in the playoffs? I, forgot, we didn't make the playoffs.......
  21. I let go of that one a long time ago- I was pretty upset when it happened, then I read a ridiculous article about a guy using calculus to figure it out. If it has to go that far, then no replay or official can be expected to get it right. Even if we started our best QB, which was actually Alex Van Pelt, we may not have won. He can be, but an OL can also be like a dam- once there is a crack, the whole thing can fall apart. The Eagles were completely outcoached- McCoy had no idea how to pick up the blitz and shouldn't have been on the field. The WR's were terrible as was the entire game plan. If Dallas continues to play like this, they could win the NFC and give San Diego or NY a run for its money. Indy is done, by the way
  22. Wish we could have had that Dallas coach.....oh wait, the fans only want to see coaching changes in Buffalo, as they are allergic to winning.
  23. QB- Jason Campbell, LeFevour, Brohm RB- Jackson, Lynch WR- Evans, Hardy, Johnson, ????? LT- Okung LG- Levitre, Hangartner C- Wood, Hangartner RG- Butler, Hangartner RT- ???? TE- Nelson, Stupar, Schouman
  24. Erin Flynn who used to do sports, back when WKBW was watchable wasn't bad at all!
  25. While the 'He inherited the problems from Bush' gets old, the fact is, he inherited the current world situation from nobody. It is what it is and he can only affect it so much in just one year, regardless of party affiliation or how much it enrages the american people
