  1. I still think he won that cage match against Hogan. Replay shows his feet hitting the floor first
  2. I think one of the biggest problems is that the American people want the deficit to be gone, but they don't want to bite the bullet to get it done. In response, politicians aren't stupid. They claim they are for reducing the deficit, but actually keep everything status quo, so they don't get voted out.
  3. I am in Middle Earth!
  4. You are so kind I have been following them- I follow all groups, not just the two big ones.....that was sarcastic humor, Magoz, not a dig at you
  5. Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer.....now you put your head in your hands, oh no! I think it really concerns almost everyone not in office or planning to run
  6. Its stuff like "The Republicans did it too" and "The Democrats did it too" that keep the cycle going. Sometimes I think both sides conspire to make sure it continues and they remain in power. Pretty frustrating
  7. This may be a reach, but former Buffalo rival, Bryan Cox did very well at DL coach for Cleveland. I think he has the leadership skills to be a future head coach. I wouldn't mind giving him a try
  8. I don't remember, but raising it is something you will see more of during each administration. Nobody really cares about the deficit, they just say they do. If they cared, they wouldn't get elected again
  9. Didn't it get raised twice under the Bush administration as well too? And that isn't meant as the typical "Well the republicans did it." I am just saying both sides continue to mess things up. If we went with the conservative plan for social security, the liberal plan for healthcare and eliminated medicare, then raised taxes until the deficit was gone, we probably would be in good shape. But that probably isn't partisan enough.
  10. With the money Al Davis raked in from continually pinballing between Oakland and LA, and the way Baltimore bailed out pig-faced satan, I would say that we owe Wilson much more than he owes us. The Bills could have been the Baltimore Ravens......
  11. Making the change now makes more sense- while some call it tanking the season, I disagree. You may overachieve or may get better draft picks that will help implement the desired system. Any holdovers will become more acclimated to the new defense. No. Schobel couldn't play DE in the 3-4 and Williams is more suited to being Stroud's backup at LE. Maybin isn't good enough, maybe Schobel is- he is very athletic. Ellison may be a backup inside. Anyone who thinks the transition will just take this season is kidding ourselves. We are rebuilding.
  12. With the OL, DL and QB being a problem, we won't be taking a WR in the second round. Too much roster turnover will happen before August, its impossible to figure- I assume we will be after Vince Wilfork in free agency. Schobel may get a look at OLB, but the only 3 DL's I can see sticking are Kyle Williams, Stroud and Johnson- possibly Mccargo Looking at the stat sheet, yes, but that doesn't show how playing next to Stroud helped him
  13. So you think the people that think the way you do are rational and the people who don't, aren't. I am definitely for reform, but the people against it have a completely, clear and valid point. I find the way this whole thing played out to be very intriguing. Ironic that the whole country went way left in the presidential election and Mass. is the state that probably will block health care reform. A couple friends and I were laughing about that last night. Never boring, is it?
  14. How are the Americans doing....oops
  15. I'd prefer moving Wood to center and Butler back to guard and get two starting tackles. If Okung is available, I thinkwe will take him. If Edwards is ok from his concussions to come back, I am not against going with him. Despite the nonsensical ramblings of some people, he can be a good QB. He has only been in the league for 3 years and has not had much protection or anywhere to go with the ball. His arm isn't as bad as people want to make it out to be either
  16. Now I'm not really a fan of Jauron, although it appears that way on the board, since I'm always defending him. IN his defense, he won a bunch of games without an offensive or defensive line and a horrible group of linebackers. He assembled a staff that got jobs pretty quick after they let go. If we don't get better players, you could assemble a staff that includes Vince Lombardi, Bill Parcells, Bill Walsh and Bill Bellicheck and it still won't win squat
  17. He did have Aikman, Smith, and Irvin.......we don't have anything like that. You need the horses to run the race
  18. Sure he would- he panders to idiots, which hold a majority in the population
  19. He got by in a mediocre conference in college. He isn't a very good pro player, much like the joke the Jests took a couple years ago.
  20. Based on what?
  21. We had a heck of a defense that year. Starting DL of Bruce Smith, Ted Washington and Phil Hansen, LB's Cowart, Holocek and Rogers!
  22. We don't have a starting OT, Incognito is a undisciplined backup, irregarldess of the love affair with the fans. Stroud is the only starting caliber DL we have on the roster. Our LB's aren't very good. If Reed is willing to play for near the league minimum, bring him back, if not, say goodbye- he is the most reliable target we have, which isn't saying much. I like Nelson and Hardy in the slot next year. The problem is we have overachieved with a terrible roster, and since we won a number of games, people have become enamored with mediocre players. I am not attached to this group woth one winning season and no playoff appearances in 10 years. Any player on our roster should be able to be traded for, for the right price.
  23. I didn't say your comments- I meant Bills fans in general. I don't see us getting into the playoffs next year, but if we make good moves, we will start moving in that direction. We have a ton of holes
  24. Fans are paranoid, like how it used to be with Red Sox fans. They wanted an overrated Cowher. ONly way we get better is to start getting good players. No coach can win with the current roster
