You have a developing QB with no protection and a load of garbage to throw the ball to- and alligator arms Owens WAS garbage. I like the fact that he is smart enough to check down in that situation instead of throwing the ball up for grabs. And you can blame Jauron all you want.....he was given garbage to work with by one of the most dysfunctional front offices I have ever seen. The Bills over the last decade have one of the most mismanaged franchises in the league. They could put a cone at QB for all I care- fix both lines and let the fans talk on the radio, cause that's what they do.

Trent Edwards is not a bad QB when healthy. His arm is better than people in Buffalo make it out to be. He has had trouble reading defenses the past season and a half because of the worst OL the NFL has seen in a decade and because he was rushed back from an injury. He has been given a mediocre group of weapons to use during his development and an unreliable defense that can't keep points off the board consistently. This is no way to develop an NFL quarterback. I would be fine with him, Campbell or Fitzpatrick. Frankly, this talk of who will be the QB next year really is boring. It mostly comes from the people who think Colin Cowherd is insightful and that Howard Simon knows sports. QB isn't our biggest worry, its not even close.

Actually, they aren't that dumb. I disagree with a lot of their ideas, like this tax break. Still, we are in a bottomless pit of debt and getting out of it means political suicide, which is taboo in this country. They are in a catch 22 and the thing that will be good for us won't get them re-elected, which is what American politics comes down to.

This is assuming that one OL, 1 DL and a QB will magically transmography the Bills into what the Patriots used to be. AND IT IS WRONG! We need 2 starting OT's, a legit starting NT and a backup and a defensive end or two. We are thin at LB and we don't know how our current secondary will work in the new scheme. Our WR's are below average to average at best. Like it or not, we are a rebuilding project, we aren't reloading. Build for the long term

I just don't think he has the skill set to be an effective edge rusher of note in the NFL. He got by at the college level, which is a lot easier. I'd like to see if he can make similar adjustments to what Farrior made witht he Jets, moving to ILB in a 3-4 scheme. He has the athleticism to do it, but we don't know about his instincts yet. It may be his best shot at sticking in the NFL.

Actually, that might be the difference between him and Limbaugh- Olbermann is actually dumb enough to believe the drivel that comes out of his mouth. LImbaugh is intelligent enough to probably laugh at his listeners while not on the air.

I think it is either 5 or 6 seasons if there is no CBA that a player needs to have accumulated.

He will still be a restricted free agent, due to no CBA meaning it takes an extra year to become unrestricted. All they have to do is give him a decent offer and it would cost a first round pick to sign him away from the Jets

It is so expected, isn't it. I have always believed that the democrats and republicans at the highest levels are in collusion to never get anything done, just to keep their bases separated and in line. Keeps a third party from emerging, because if a third party emerged, the donkeys and elephants would be decimated.....

Kick me around for saying this all you want, but its all the same to me, whether they win a superbowl or not. I've been in the sports world for over a decade now- as a spectator, coach, writer, official and SID. A quote I really, really liked is this "Its not always all about winning, its about showing up each and every time." Before you start to think that comment is about 'just giving your best', look at it a little closer. When everyone does their job, knows their assignment, ignores everything else and gets things done- that is when you really are able to compete and win. You don't go out there to win, as that isn't a true objective- it is actually a distraction. I will just keep enjoying the games and competition. That's what sports are really all about.

Not that I am criticizing you, but it is unrealistic to expect that you can take things away- by that, I mean that people can get things paid for NOW that aren't insured. I am not sure I feel all that good that things are so hard to take away in this country. Also, I meant the simple fix for everything- all politicians have to do today is stay popular- that is WAY too easy a task. One of the best idea I've read. Most people don't vote for the candidate that best represents them. Most Americans are too stupid for this- they limit themselves to two candidates and believe everything they are spoonfed about there ONLY being two candidates. Then they just blame the president for everything that follows, instead of looking at the entire government as a whole. People continually elect people to tell them what they want to hear, and do what is easy. Empty rhetoric? "Love it or leave it" and "America is the best thing since sliced bread" and "Us good, Them bad" is empty rhetoric, and by the way, a lot more stupid than patriotic. True patriots always challenge the system- thats what built this country and made it great

The problem with going in and doing it for them is obvious- they never can fend for themselves. Now, I do feel horrible about what Sadaam did- he is one of the most despicable people in history- but they eventually would have risen up against him. Eventually the capability is developed to do this when the oppression reaches the breaking point. If this happened, they would have set up a proper government and been ready to defend themselves. I am sure we had good intentions, but may have caused future pain for the Iraqi's by doing it for them. Unfortunately, Americans want their government to do what is popular instead of what is good. Been that way for a long time. Its time to stop blaming the politicians for this and for the american people to start looking in the mirror to see the real problem

I think Bulaga could be a starting caliber left tackle or an all-pro at right tackle. People really underrate how important the RT position is. If you are set at RT, you can afford to give more help to the left side.

It has been that way for a long time now as far as running the country and seems to get worse each year- which may not be the fault of who sits in the president's office each year, but the fault of the American people for not insisting on restraint. Personally, I think we would be in better shape if we had been able to get rid of social security and medicare, but had public health insurance- People need to understand that to get things, other things have to be given up. Also, we have to stop policing other countries: I think Saddam was closer to Hitler than many people realize, but a revolution from within would have been a much better way to have him removed than setting up an artificial government, which has kept us there and helped be another drain on our economy.
