We probably are a 4-5 win team this year, no matter who the QB is. If Kelly were here in his prime, maybe 6 wins. We don't have a starting caliber OT on the roster and despite the potential on the interior line, those players are very green. Aside from Evans, we don't know if we have anything at WR. As was previously stated in this thread, he isn't really a good #1 WR in this league. Our defense won't do much, playing a 5-2 scheme either, teams will kill us with the short passes.

The QB just doesn't have the same impact that a pitcher does- the other team has to get hits, sacrifices, etc....directly against the pitcher. There are so many more variables in football. And by the way, people wrongly said that Flutie just wins- the defense won those games, as long as Mr. Smurf didn't lose them for us!

Didn't Dusty Zeigler step in to play left tackle? Had Greer and Linton decided to stay in their lanes, Rob Johnson's shoeless play would have gone down in Bills' lore and his career may have been very different.

Although I have seen connor disagree with people close to 100% of the time, I have never seen him be blatantly disrespectful, as this exchange has been. Not saying that it hasn't happened, but I haven't seen it.

Don't know I can tell you that if I had no offensive line, a young, undeveloped QB and a bad defense, I would go to a ball-control ground game to protect that QB, instead of an opened up offense. Sure, it might not work, but it would help keep games close and give you a chance. Disasterous draft picks like Mike Williams, Marshawn Lynch, Aaron Maybin and Roscoe Parrish have killed us over the years

I took a long hard look at our defense last night, and I am not as excited as I initially was. Was have two DE's playing OLB and a one-gap nose tackle. That, essentially, is a 5-2, not a 3-4. I expect we will be much better against the run, but will get gouged by short passes, particularly to good TE's. One we get Williams out and Troup in, I suspect things will improve, as long as Troup lives up to his billing- which may be 3 years down the road. Rome wasn't built in a day

I have been around athletics at every level for 20 years and it just doesn't work that way. Players do influence other players- they are human beings, even at the pro level

Obama is a bad politician and speaker, so what.....that makes him a perfect leader for this country. Not a fan of Jackson, the Cavs owner or Lebron. All three of them failed to show class.

No type of government will work forever. It isn't the system that causes them to break down, it is the corruption that is part of human nature that does. We were better off in caves.
