  1. You're very enthusiastic. I'm not looking for playoffs next season. I want to see the new coach implement a plan for the team to get better, We are starting over again, and it will take time.
  2. The known measurables are higher earlier in the draft, but the guys who do their homework unearth the good ones at small school later on
  3. Best move is to say that Tyrod keeps us at a certain level and if a guy who can get us beyond that level is available, then take him. We made a mistake cutting Bledsoe, let's not do that again.
  4. We don't have anyone on the roster better than Tyrod Taylor. Therefore keeping him is a good move. If we somehow acquire Matt Ryan, then cutting Taylor makes sense
  5. I think any team with a strong running game could take a flyer on him. If he doesn't start, he's a more than competent backup with mobility and a good deep ball
  6. That would take our sail out of the wind, now wouldn't it?
  7. I know very little about him. Except that he's a major upgrade
  8. An add on to that is how does he handle it if personal doesn't allow his first preference I believe Schultz will move past him on the depth chart
  9. That was a knock on Orton too, and he was pretty solid
  10. The big question is if Taylor had been playing for another team and had an identical performance, would we be jumping for joy by bringing him in. I believe that answer is a resounding yes.
  11. In other words, playoff teams do things well. Non-playoff teams, not so much
  12. I'm hoping Frank Reich and Ray Horton both get strong looks
  13. I think George Seifert was spotted at the airport
  14. Keep Tyrod until you have something better. You don't cut a guy because fans don't like him. Fans are for sitting in the stands and clapping their hands, not for making decisons
  15. Just look at when they went to Arizona! They took a franchise on the upswing and turned it to a pile of garbage. For their defensive scheme to win, you need 11 all-pro players on defense and at least one hall of famer on offense. That was proven in Chicago. I jumped for joy this morning
  16. They didn't underperform until we brought in a guy who is clueless about defense
  17. I think some of the people on this message board are more deserving. I didn't see Lonnie Johnson on the list
  18. Agreed on Rex. But someone is going to make money on the team. Those guys are good players
  19. The Ryan family took over a fast-rising Arizona team in the 1990's and destroyed it. Looks like history has repeated itself.
  20. People have no more knowledge than the average football?
