  1. What is one thing Ned Flanders loves but normal human beings find annoying, Alex.
  2. puke... "I'll be a better teammate, a better person, a better man in life. I'm looking forward to this opportunity." Yeah, right. What a classy guy. It isn't all about ego with him...
  3. Tip - If you want to wipe yourself with standard paper rather than soft tissue, you really shouldn't have to pay for it.
  4. I don't know, I'd give my left nut before having to watch TO get a super bowl MVP - with Drew Rosenhaus by his side...of course, my left nut is extremely misshapen.
  5. This is more pointless sentimentality than addressing the salary cap implications of many of the prior posts - and i can understand the opinion that dropping Moulds is necessary with his salary implications, but i definitely feel worse getting rid of him as opposed to Bruce and Thurman. Those guys were egomaniacs who had clearly lost a step, Moulds will contribute more than they did on other teams. And I think Moulds cared more about the Bills than those guys did- certainly Bruce just wanted money and attention. None of us know exactly what happened with his Mularkey dispute. So best of luck to Moulds, a sentiment I rarely feel when a Buffalo player goes elsewhere. Usually I hope that ex-Bills quickly tear an ACL after they leave town...
  6. bob barker would be a big step up. it's an awful mtv show w/ the moron blink 182 drummer and his hot wife. trying to capture the jessica simpson audience i guess.
  7. But does Direct TV still require having a landline phone in order to be a customer? Damned archaic Direct TV....
  8. well, how do they rate in popularity as compared to japanese game shows? and 'meet the barkers' is on there? that's just sad.
  9. What American shows are popular in Britain? All I can think of is Nick Hornby's references to Cheers in High Fidelity.
  10. sure, that goes without saying.

  12. and they can't get a few seconds on sportscenter this morning? oh well. reason #20 why i quit watching ESPN years ago.

  15. well, they won games with scores like UB 68, Elon 67. those are wins but not very impressive. what the hell is Elon? a foot fungus?
  16. when i've seen them play this year, i can't say i disagree much. still nice when they win though.

  21. would be great if AD was able to continue there. New series (maybe just miniseries?) on showtime called "Sleeper Cell" about infiltrating muslim terrorist cell in LA seems pretty good.
  22. can't you go beat off to some star trek thread with your spare time?
  23. hey, that's pretty nasty. they are disappointing but you shouldn't call anybody a chocker.
  24. from this article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10271314/ Meantime, the island's two presumptive holy men — Locke and Eko — finally hunkered down. Locke played the Dharma orientation film for Michael and Eko. The film unsettled Eko, who later revealed to Locke what was hidden inside the Bible found in the tail-enders' Dharma station: some of the film's missing footage of Dr. Marvin Candle. Demonstrating that he could run enigmatic circles around Locke, Eko prefaced this revelation by recounting the biblical tale of Josiah (the Judaic king who purged the Jerusalem temple of idols and repaired it), drawing a parallel between Josiah's rediscovery of God's laws and his own discovery of the Bible. When Locke marveled at the coincidence of it all, Eko replied, "Don't mistake coincidence for fate." The Josiah thing is admittedly puzzling, and how fortunate there's six weeks to hash it all out. For one thing, Josiah later fatally led his forces into Megiddo, the valley where Armageddon supposedly will take place. There's Kate's black horse, which also has apocalyptic overtones. Add that to last week's curious moment with Locke filling "Gilgamesh" into his crossword puzzle, responding to the clue, "Enkidu's friend." Is Locke Gilgamesh? Is Eko Enkidu? (Totally confused?) Nothing like a Christmas-vacation research project. also links to gilgamesh/enkidu summary: http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/gilgamesh/summary.html
  25. Why can't a narcissist know CPR? In the end the incident gained him some adulation and fed his ego. You are right, he was just being an agent for TO and doing his job. Agents are slimebags in general. He just epitomizes the profession.
