  1. Marv is a smart man and realizes that you can't "polish a turd", and should be commended for trying to get something for this buffoon. What direction would you take in the draft to find his replace. Assuming Peterson is off the board would you take Lynch at 12 OR would you rather wait until the second round and pick-up Irons, Pittman, or Walker OR wait until the 3rd and pick-up either Hunt or Bush? I don't follow the college game closely enough to really know, but I think the most appealing would be to take Okoye in 1st and Kenny Irons in the 2nd. What would you prefer. The other option would be Dominic "DWI" Rhodes in free agency, which I wouldn't be entirely opposed to either.
  2. I heard a rumor that Marv and Ralph are going to hire Jack Lalanne as the strength and conditioning coach
  3. I would prefer Lance Briggs to Thomas
  4. I think you should be commended for laying out the perfect offseason plan, and I am going to add my two cents to each of your bullets 1.) This is my only disagreement with you, I would let him walk and sign Nick Harper for much less. 2.) Let Fletcher walk like you say and I would use the money we would have spent on Clements, to bring in Lance Briggs. We can figure out later who will play the middle (Spikes or Crowell), but Briggs is a serious impact player. Jauron drafted him (I believe) and don't be surprised for us to make a run at him. 3.) Steinbach would be the most desireable guard, but if he is out of price range than maybe Dielman from San Diego could be signed at a much more reasonable price. 4.) The Bills could fill this need with Ian Scott. I have heard good things, but he sure was non-existent in the Superbowl. I don't know much about his play, but I hear he may be just what we are looking for. 5.) I love the Jarrett pick, but if Gaines Adams drops to us at 12 he would be hard to pass up. If we wanted more draft picks we could trade down and get Bowe from LSU. This would be the perfect offseason - I have no idea if this would be affordable.
  5. I am happy for Son of Bum, but if Parcells couldn't shut TO up, can you imagine what we are in store for next season. TO will walk all over him like a door mat, and Jerry Jones will make excuses for TO.
  6. How quickly everybody forgets how terrible Nate played in 2005. After Chris Chambers dropped something like 240 yds and 15 catches, 99% of the fans wanted him out of Buffalo. Now people are saying that he is a must sign and that we should give him this kind of money............absolutely no way. He has had flashes of brilliance towards the end of the season, but has been way too inconsistent to make this kind of investment in. I can just see giving him this kind of money, having him relax and revert back to his 2005 performance level. That money should be spent going after free agents Briggs, Scott, or Steinbach. If they want to throw big money at a cornerback, then it should be Samuel.
  7. Exaggerate????????? I would like to know which of my 20 are a stretch.
  8. Thank-you.............anybody that doesn't take just a little offense to what he said, imo is not a die-hard Bills fan. I think an athlete owes just a little bit of loyalty to the city and the fans in which he plays. Not that anything out of that buffons mouth matters, but it was a clear slap in the face to the fans that have had to suffer through watching him play like a bumbling fool for three years, to say the Bills should move to Toronto.
  9. I think it just annoys many of us to have to watch a below average back, who has never made a meaningful play in three years, have his agent ask for a substantial pay increase, while at the same time making comments about the very city he just asked for an extension. Whether he is right or wrong about the long term viability of the Bills in Buffalo is besides the point, he should know enough to keep his mouth shut. Most of us knew he is a complete moron, but now he has removed all doubt. You would be more willing to let it go in one ear and out the other, if he was actually a good running back.
  10. I think Ralph Wilson said it best when he said that the running back has been a disappointment. Not only is he a below average starting running back on the field, he is an embarassment off the field as well. I am not referring to the fact that he has fathered three kids with three different woman in the past year either. To deliberately "bite the hand that feeds you", by saying that if they were going to put a NFL team in Toronto they should just put the Bills there, is inexcusable. Many will argue that his comments were taken out of context and he was asked a hypothetical question, but it leaves no question as to what he really thinks of the city of Buffalo and its fans. As a season ticket holder, I would be sickened to spend my hard earned money to have to watch an average to below average ingrateful idiot with his level of class be rewarded with a huge contract in city that he just publicly embarrassed. I am fully confident that Marv and Ralph, realize that neither his talent level nor his character, are a good fit with what we are trying to build here in Buffalo. I have prepared a list of the running backs in this league that I would choose over Willis strictly based on performace, that prove that he is a below average back. RB's I would rather have: 1. Ronnie Brown 2. Maroney 3. Rudi Johnson 4. Maurice Jones-Drew 5. Joseph Addai 6. L.T. 7. Larry Johnson 8. Travis Henry 9. Julius Jones 10. Tiki Barber (retiring) 11. Brian Westbrook 12. Shaun Alexander 13. Frank Gore 14. Stephen Jackson 15. Edgerrin James 16. Thomas Jones 17. Clinton Portis 18. Deuce McAllister 19. Reggie Bush 20. Warrick Dunn RB's Willis is better than: 1. Cedric Houston or Leon Washington 2. Reuben Droughns 3. Corey Dillon 4. Jamal Lewis 5. Lamont Jordan 6. Tatum Bell or Mike Bell 7. Fred Taylor 8. Ron Dayne or Wali Lundy 9. Chester Taylor 10. Ahman Green 11. Kevin Jones 12. DeShaun Foster 13. Cadillac Williams 20 better than Willis and 13 he is better than puts him at a below average RB in the NFL.
