Thanks for all of your help!!! This don't look good for the home team as I cannot find a ticket for around 200.00 bucks. This really sucks to cuz I get the wife to buy off on a guys weekend in Houston but I can't get her to buy off on spending about 1000.00 to do it.(which I understand). I dont travel much anymore but I thought that when you booked in advance you get better deals? I looked at every airport within a 2 hour drive of Dothan AL and cant get below 400.00.

From what I understand we are about .40 cheaper per gallon down here in southern Alabama then you are up there. Before I moved down here I lived in Hornell and drove to Elmira everyday 120 round trip. I traded in my truck for a Chevy Cavalier and spent in a week what I would have in a day. Even with the payment on the car it was still cheaper by 150.00 per month. Look into a cheaper beater car that your son can make tip top and you may get some relief in there before its all over. Talked to some family the other day who says that gas prices are supposed to be at 4.00 per gallon by summer. that hurts.

Going to the Yankees / Astros game in Houston with a bunch of buddies from around the country and cant find a damn ticket anywhere near me for under 400. Really only want to spend 200 or so on airfare. I have gone to priceline/cheap tickets and expedia so far. Any other good sites out there to check? Yesterday I was watching my TV....Kids started fighting (again) so I had to leave the room for a minute. When I came back there was nothing but static coming out of the speakers. The picture was fine, the cable was fine, and the DTV was all fine. Here we are a day and a half later and still nothing but static. The living room TV is the only one effected in the house. The TV is a 57" RCA (not HD). If anyone can give me some insight on what the problem may be and how to fix it I would much appreciate it. I plan on getting a new HDTV before the football season starts but can't now due to vacation plans back to Tonawanda in July. Thanks again. Steve
