  2. Like everyone I liked the Jeep spot - well done, pulled from a cultural classic, featuring America's greatest asset, Bill Murray, on the right day. Well done Jeep! I also liked the Saint Archer spot, but that's just because I've know P-Rod (the skateboarder in the spot) for about 20 years and it's always cool to see homies get some shine, especially on the freaking Super Bowl! And of course, I loved the Dew spot (Full Disclosure: Dew is my client, the team that worked on this spot are my peoples). The spot was well done, it captured the feel of the Shining and Cranston was SO good as the lead. Plus Tracee Ellis Ross made me laugh too, fighting off the axe with the tub brush. When I heard the concept a couple months ago I thought "Okaaaay, The Shining!? It'll either kill it, or bomb, but curious choice.". Then when saw the spot a couple weeks ago, I thought "Oh OK, they nailed it!". I'll have to go back and take a look, honestly not a ton of the others caught my eye. There were several that just bought it down too, keep the levity for some time other than the big game, IMO. This is entertainment!!
  3. Not exactly, it was a poll of NFL Execs and McDermott was their choice as "coach of the year". No one actually read that article thought, they just saw "Coach of the Year" on Twitter and everyone thought it was the NFL Honors award, but it wasn't so THEN everyone assumed it was "fake". It was neither of those, it was just an opinion from a survey of top NFL Executives. 4. I think it's great that fans are so united against Roger and his desire for a new stadium (I felt the same way when I read the article), though I'm not sure fans are actually considering the Pegula side of things... Everyone seems to think that the NFL is "forcing" the Pegula's to spend money to build a new stadium. Has anyone considered that maybe the Pegula's actually WANT a new stadium? Perhaps they too want a building that will up their revenue? Perhaps they want another signature building / crown jewel as part of their Buffalo revitalization? Maybe they love their old fixer-upper with the small hallways, but they know their family needs some digs from this century and dad has saved a few bucks in the bank, so hey let's look around! Who knows, I just think it's so funny that the fans are running the Pegula's "defense" when they don't really know what their desires are. I mean they DID just do a study on this issue, so it's not like complete status quo...
  5. Are we still pregaming? I'm about to roll-up a fat...Stromboli (s/o Mead). My real pregame was Stowe at 7am, finally got some snow up in these parts! So good today, though the drive up at 6am was white knuckle for sure... Here's to hoping the second game is as good as the first
  6. Josh knew we let one slip away, the Ravens got smacked... Let's hope Josh uses that as fuel for the fire.
  7. I think they all are - that letter from Dawkins made that clear... SUPER frustrating, but, such is life.
  8. Woooow - Ravens fans crapping in their pants...
  9. If there is one thing Sully knows, it's how get everyone's ire up. Regardless,, even if you hate waiting (I'm assuming he has a hot date), you don't tweet that - the reporter is not the story, Jerry...
  10. At this point the only thing I can say that really worked out Saturday was the Beef on Weck (and cheese, cause you need cheese) Stromboli I made. All credit to @mead107 for inspiring me to roll up a new foodstuff item for my arsenal ??
  11. Yup, those blocks get made and everyone is talking about Allen as a comeback hero and praising Daboll for the call. There were like 4 plays in the game that lost it for us, SUCH a bummer...
  12. Is this the guy that just called GR55 saying that the Bills need to dump Allen and draft a new QB next year? ?
  13. Wow, talk about heartbreak - rough loss for New Orleans.
  14. That play, the Brown "gallop" out of bounds and the non-block on the Allen sweep - AHHHHHHRRRRR!!! ? Buuuu-mmer, man!
  15. Lotta truths in this thread. Bottom line for me, is that we need more talent on the O, stat.
  16. Fun season (really, I had a BLAST this year), bummer loss, I look forward to seeing / sitting with you in the Opener next year!
  17. Drinking a Blue. Inspired by Mead, I'm going to attempt to make a Stromboli - we shall see...
  18. I'm amazed he's not on TBD ? Also, nothing is a more perfect snapshot of our world - something that a guy did on TV in 90's, is giving him a *career* in 2020. Amazing times! What a value add!
