  1. From a thread on BB.com; credit goes to circle_the_wagons67:

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHO TO ROOT FOR NEXT WEEK...

    chronological order

Jacksonville (8-5) @ TENNESSE (1:00) - J-ville also has to go 1-2 to finish out. They face the Pats at home and then go to arrowhead to close out the season after next week. We really need them to go ahead and lose thier first one next week. It is virtually a must lose for a Bills playoff scenario, keep reading.

Denver (7-6) @ ARIZONA (4:15pm) -this is probably the most important game out of many that we need help with. We do not hold a tiebreaker with Denver so we need them to go 1-2 in the last three also. After this they face Cinci and San Fran at home. I dont see them losing to San Fran.

Kansas City (7-6) @ SAN DIEGO (8:15) - We only need KC to lose one more but this is big too, here is why. They finish @ Oakland and hosting Jacksonville. Thats a little overlap in what we need. So if they pull out an upset here then we are hoping for them to lose to Oakland, because the only other scenario for a Bills playoff birth would involve KC getting beat at home by a Jacksonville team already eliminated from the playoffs.

Cincinatti (8-5) @ Indy - We actually dont care about this game because Cinci would have to lose out for us to jump them and that isnt happening. Besides we need them to beat Denver in week 16. So they can go ahead and roll. Bill/Bengals AFC wildcard.

Miami @ THE BILLS!!!! just in case you forgot, this is the most important game!

So now you know who to root for. The Jags, Broncos and Chiefs are the only (haha, only) teams we need to lose. We dont care at all about the Jets this week. Next week against Miami will decide our ability to jump them regardless of how they fare in Minnesota. (because if they lose to Minnesota and beat Miami, they hold a tiebreaker unless they lose to Oakland week 17, if they win in Minn. and lose to Miami then we hold a tiebreaker and if they lose to both then of course we have a better record)

So anyways, this playoff scenario is real homeristic but its fun. If Jacksonville, Denver and Kansas City lose next week and the Bills win...our chances get very good to get in. Then next week we will need the Pats over the Jags, Cinci over Denver and Miami over the Jets. If we get ALL that and win against Tennesse our fate is in our own hands in week 17 facing Baltimore.

But if just one of these games doesnt play out like we need it too, our chances will be very very remote. Like even more remote than they already are.

    GO BILLS!!

  2. Damn, that is an amazing building...

The giant score boards will be crazy. And how about the club seats where the players enter?

You can love the nostalgia of the Ralph all you like, but a new modern stadium in Buffalo would be sooooo sweet. Hopefully some 25 year old kid will come up with the next YouTube, sell it for a billion and buy the Bills!

  3. We shouldn't care who knows what with that.

Helen Keller should know our intentions on 3rd & short.

They should know we're going to run over their asses. We should know they know we're going to run over their asses. And we should pound it on them anyway. This is Buffalo, not Miami.

  4. I listened to it on Sirius today driving home - interesting to see the video synched with the audio.

    A couple thoughts:

    - We got super lucky with the int then fumlble recovery, though on the radio they did say JP's hand got hit. Still, can't do that too much and win.

    - I had no idea how close Roscoe was to being tackled mid-field on the return. Way to make it happen Roscoe!! Check this out: http://roscoeparrish.com/

    - I can't believe we didn't stop Gerard on that 4th down in the fourth; about 3 dudes hit him before the marker. Make the F'n tackle!

    - That last catch was just a clutch play by JP and Roscoe! Clutch.

Hopefully these last few weeks are exactly what this team needs - some confidence rolling into the late and off-season! We finally are learning to win and getting some breaks to go our way. Next year things could *really* start to come together.

I know this it sure was a fun one to listen to, I was going nuts in the Jeep when we won. I'm so sad I missed it - if I lived in Buffalo there would be NO WAY I would have missed today's game. How can you pass up the 60 degree weather!? Maybe the fans will start to come back out for the cold weather campaign...

  5. What I couldn't fathom is how the announcer could say that "I'm not sure if he would have come down in bounds". It was so obviously clear when watching the replay that he would have been in bounds that I have to think the NFL really puts the pressure on the announcers not to question the calls too much.

gmac - that jumped out to me as well. Then they were all wishy-washy talking about reviewing the play. The refs should look at that, oh wait I guess the refs don't have to look at that, but maybe they should look at that. Of course they should!

I *still* don't get why they wouldn't review that play! It's THE most critical play of the game!!

If I were a Jets fan, I'd be pissed about that one...

  6. Did anyone else catch the end of that game?

On 4th down with like 53 seconds left, Pennington threw what might have been the go-ahead TD to a reciever who was knocked out of bounds. The refs called it an incomplete pass and for some reason said that they couldn't review the play in the booth.

I'm not sure why - it sure as heck looked like the guy could have come down with both feet in to me. Why not at least take a look!?

The announcers were ALL confused too saying they should review, oh they don't need to review, but wait why not review and on and on with the flipping back and forth.

    Strange one, that's for sure...

  7. I hear ya about the Super Bowls, I could only roll my eyes - great Irvin ranting about how great he is. A chump for sure.

But in the end, I had to agree with what he said. He was on some great teams and won Super Bowls and because of that ESPN pays him to give his opinion on the league. If he felt Tiki was a distraction, so be it, it was his *opinion*...

Tiki is a class guy though; I guess it's just interesting to see this type of stuff played out in the media.

  8. Hmmmm - even living up in NE country, I got to tell you I had a blast today...

Sure I had to yell at the TV far too often, I have to wonder if JP is really ever gonna get it done, if the D can get it fixed if the new staff can really win; but one one thing was for sure Buffalo was represented in Burlington today. We're so far, but so close.

I guess, I'm still uber-frustraited by the loss, but they're still our boys. Hopefully if we continue with the character movement we'll find some players that want to win it all.

Most loyal fans? I hope so - I wouldn't leave this team for the life of me...
