  1. Bummer - I missed it. There's also a Sr. Bowl practice recap show on NFLN at 8:30 called "Path to the Draft", FWIW...
  2. Great interview... Buddy did say they won't draft for position, but didn't say we'll take the BPA - he said they'll take the player that they think can make the biggest impact. Maybe a CB like Peterson will be the BPA on the board, but not the guy that Buddy and Chan feel can make the biggest impact for this team. I bet we'll all find out in a few months when the draft is held
  3. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bills-wannstedtvisits&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Nothing new I guess...
  4. Brady talks smack off camera, the Jets do it on camera. Who cares really? Though one has to think that Tommy Boy has a little bit more of a reason to talk smack - what's Cromartie's ring count to Brady's? Yeah...
  5. sar·chasm ('sär-"ka-z&m) : The giant gulf (chasm) between what is said and the person who doesn't get it.
  6. A couple things: - That first article is old, I don't remember Pat White changing the NFL and the Wildcat is on it's way out. Not saying Leach can't be successful, but that can't be your proof! - You guys think Ralph is "meddlesome"? Their owner trying to dictate their offensive philosophy. We'll Start Fast! Razzle Dazzle Baby! It worked for Danny boy!! Heck of a way to run an organization if you ask me. Let's all hope they fail
  7. The Senator is his cousin or brother or something. I just haven't been able to piece it all together yet... Senator, I really hope he does go *somewhere* just so we can see if the college hype is real!
  8. Interesting perspective on Gruden: "For those wondering why Miami didn't do whatever it took to get Bill Cowher, the Dolphins only had strong interest in an offensive-minded coach and Cowher's forte is defense. Though Jon Gruden's background is on offense, the Dolphins weren't interested. One NFL official (not with Miami) said this is a concern for some teams: Gruden wants a lot of money, isn't strong on personnel decisions and can quickly change his mind on players, which can be frustrating for his personnel people."
  9. But, but - what about all of the theories / conspiracies already posted in this thread!?!
  10. I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber helmet look, but do like the fluorescent yellow pop colors. Give me matte black with that yellow and it'll be like looking into the sun Interesting to see what they've done with the unis all year...
  11. Uh, I think Marshawn will be ok tonight Pretty amazing play...
  12. Guess Fisher won, per Schefter's Twitter: "Bud Adams: Vince Young will not be on our roster next season." "And so Jeff Fisher wins. And stays." Very interesting. Let's hope he ends up in Carolina!
  13. Holy dude, do you ever stop? As you may remember we were supposed to be the worst team in the league this year, we were not supposed to win ONE game, some called us the worst team in the history of the NFL. Our huge problems were LT and QB (ironically not many were calling out our potential run D, or lack thereof) How did all that work out? Not quite like everyone predicted. I'm not saying we're going to win the Superbowl, but damn can we at least have a draft, FA and maybe training camp before saying we're going winless in 2012 and beyond? Put away your Jump To Conclusions mat and let it all play out...
  14. Just wanted to see if I can rally some of the TBD troops to help out a cause I've been working up here in lovely Burlington, VT (where I also lead the charge for the Bills)... We're working to get an incredible new 15,000 sq ft cement skatepark built here in BTV next summer. As part of our fundraising efforts we've applied for a $25,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project - we just need to be in the top 10 vote getters by end of the month. If you have a chance and you'd like to support a great project, it would appreciated! I might even dish out a Miller High Life or 10 at next year's home opener! http://www.refresheverything.com/burlingtonskatepark Thanks in advance!!
  15. I would say no to Mangini in any roll - in an ESPN survey of pro players he was named the guy they would least like to play for (fwiw)
  16. And with the Jags down two scores and driving, Trent takes a sack. They miss a FG. Jack Del Rio's head explodes.
  17. I would already nominate this for thread of 2011...
  18. Good, one less thing for people to B word about I'm actually glad to see what Brian can do in a game, can't hurt to start looking toward next year. I'm sure it's going to be a real barn burner! o_O
  19. Where did you get the terms? They're not on his Twitter...
  20. I was at the Colts game last year, it was a win, trust me I saw it with my own two eyes... Also, just watched Rex's press conference, I didn't see the "wink wink" attitude you reference in the OP. Read into things much?
  21. That is either complete truth or totally made up. Way to speculate...
  22. Or more specifically so says a tweet from Shawn Stepner from WKBW: "#Jets head coach Rex Ryan says he voted #Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on to his pro bowl roster as 4th QB" Take it for what it's worth. Perhaps the fans view of Fitz's sucktitude is a bit off base. Or maybe Rex is a blowhard who knows nothing about the NFL and who routinely sticks his foot in his mouth (couldn't resist)
  23. Lies LIES - it just, it just, has to be! I know TBD is in a state of depression, but I'm already excited for next year (and I even want to win this week; my client is a Jets fan, he deserves a little pain at the hand of the Bills)
  24. Finally a thread about how we should lose this week - devistating(?) indeed!!
