  2. Don't you think that selling luxury suites is the goal of this whole thing? Of course it's difficult, if it wasn't all of the suites at the Ralph would be sold to businesses and our financial issues wouldn't be as dire. First they need to build a large fan base in the area so that ratings are high enough for Canadian companies to justify spending on sponsorships at the Ralph. Once that happens they'll have a much greater pull with businesses from Toronto to Buffalo... I get it everyone, it sucks that we lost a home game but Buffalo's business economy can't support the Bills on their own. Embrace the concept of a "regional market" cause it's coming (if it isn't already here). Doesn't mean the Bills will leave Buffalo, but it does mean they're going to have to be open to doing business in a different way than the past.
  3. This is nothing but good news for the Bills. Once the Bills actually start winning (hell, even being competitive) the fan base is to going to explode! Both in Canada and Buffalo, I'm sure! Why anyone would want this to fail is beyond me...
  4. I just like that his arrest is lumped in with Ricky Rose - classic...
  5. Must mean he's getting cut! DOOOOOOOOMED!!!
  6. And Chan calls Aaron out too: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/27217/gailey-calls-out-first-rounder-aaron-maybin
  7. Am I the only one that is reading his quote as not really about NFL Players vs. the League or a racial thing, but a Classicism thing? He's saying we're ALL slaves to the man - there is a class of super wealthy elite that control most of the worlds wealth, the rest of us break our humps to make the super rich, super richer. Not that I'm necessarily buying the "slave" comparison, but it seems me he was talking broader than just the NFL...
  8. Just tweeted: "Sorry Puppies........I will always love u guys.... Gave away my 2 puppies today....Happy because they can no longer stain my carpets! Sorry" This guy, he's a real funny guy...
  9. But why didn't we trade Marshawn for him!?
  10. Listen up! Gotta love that guy... And like that it was over - guess I missed out on that one. Anyone have a recap? All I caught was that if Merriman gets back to 100% healthy he'll be a wrecking force and Spiller needs to get better at blitz pick-up and ball security and he'll be a very productive RB.
  11. Clearly everyone (ok, most people) LOVE new unis! What else could it be...
  12. Just got off a flight to this great news. I'm hoping for the white helmet w charging buffalo look - 90's red, white and blue with that helmet... Finally, an excuse to buy more new Bills gear!
  13. As soon as they hold a Super Bowl in the Ralph Hammer is set! I keep saying the Bills are the least expensive fun you can have - $50 tickets, $20 parking. Hell, a lift ticket at the major US ski resorts are around $90 now! That's more than a Bills ticket plus parking...
  14. Meh, another article about the dangers of Fracking - I think we all know there are issues with the business (though, I wouldn't see any if I sold my company for $4.7 billion). Not sure what that has to do with the guys love of hockey. Also, he's from the area, not Florida. And am I supposed to be shocked that a billionaire gave hundreds of thousands to the Republicans? Nope... Let's give the guy a chance before poo-pooing his ownership of the Sabres... As for the Bills, I too am interested in keeping there here - anyone (other than Pegula), have about a billion I can borrow?
  15. Guess you know more than anyone else... Just wanted to touch on that first point, from a Buffalo Rumblings article: if the sale of the Sabres came through at $175 million, it'd represent just 5.8 percent of Pegula's total net worth, which exceeds $3 billion. Gleason reports that Pegula's true passion is Sabres hockey, but that Pegula is a Bills fan "with a fondness for the Detroit Lions". Gleason writes: "Without getting too far ahead, sources said, he would be very interested in buying the Bills after the passing of owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr., now 92, if enough variables fall into place." http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/12/2/1850502/report-terry-pegula-may-have-interest-in-buying-buffalo-bills I think time will tell on this one...
  16. Annnnnd it all comes full circle as Mayock talks about how good Chan and staff treated everyone. So funny / predictable...
  17. Yeah, what he said! I've been watching NFLN all week and haven't heard anything bad about Chan and crew at all o_O
  18. $432 for NFL season tickets just seems so inexpensive to me! I'm sure Jets and Giants fans (and probably quite a few others) would agree... If only Buffalo weren't so far away from BVT, I'd buy tickets in a second. If we get "good" again and I know I can sell the games I don't go to, I might pick up a couple tickets next year or the following. Congrats on the purchase - there isn't much you can spend $50 an have as much fun as a Bills game. Even when we lose the food, friends and scene is worth the price of admission!
  19. Imagine the Bills winning the big game, on the last drive, by a FG. Then imagine coming to TBD on Monday and listening to people (and Sully) B word because we "barely" won! The only question for me would be where do I watch the game? Do I have a party at my place (the standard)? Do I go to the game? Do I fly back to Buffalo to watch? Hard to say, but I know this - I'll be fired up as hell to watch the boys finally take one home for Buffalo!!!
  20. NEVER!!!!!! Humans have potential to heal, cars don't.
  21. Gregg, Mularky and Fewell on the short list for the job according to NFLN INTRIGUE!
  22. The Titans are flat out crazy! They drop a coach like Fischer so long after the season and going into the next (Senior Bowl scouting), etc. Then they stick to their guns about getting rid of Young. No Coach, no staff, no QB - sweet. Look at it this way - the Titans are in disarray while the Bills are doing HANDS ON evaluating of the top seniors in the country. Let's hope it translates...
  23. Of course, a few years after his injury TKO is playing and playing well for the 49ers. But don't let that get in the way of a bad argument...
  24. OMG - the Bills are going to draft defensive and offensive players that fit what we're trying to do! Cats out of the bag, we're screwed now...
  25. To me, the most telling quote / lines are: “I was just showing my love for my team and it was a nice, smart tie that matched my clothes — none of the customers minded: they had a sense of humor about it.” Roberts agreed that no customers had complained about the tie when Stone was asked to remove it at 10:30 a.m., and that Stone was a good salesman who sold 14 cars last month. To fire someone over a tie just seems stupid to me. The customers didn't mind and he's a good salesman - if anything just break the guys balls all day and have fun with it. As for the Bears promotion I'm pretty sure no one from the Bears would have been out checking up on their local car dealer marketing partnerships. And even if they had, I doubt the Bears are going to refuse their money and loaners because of THIS. I'm so thankful I have a job where no one dictates how I dress...
