  1. I'm sure it'll be fine too... Regardless, I'm running PS3 when I'm at home. Something about that HDMI right into the TV that makes me feel better Though, I suppose it's all running off the same WiFi and Internet. I also tend to travel a lot for work so this will be amazing - just pack the iPad, the Apple TV, cables and you're good to go wherever you're staying! Thanks to the OP for the link!
  2. Jackbooted thugs break in and smash your TV - better be sure you're telling the truth. They know, man... Welp, I just dropped in to the tablet version too - I have the service and the app. And holy crapper, you can log in on the PS3!! Good thing, cause right now it's just a RedZone commercial on the iPad that won't AirPlay, it just says "Try again later". I'm not freaking out. Yet. Pretty amazing you can save $50, just by purchasing in a different place...
  3. Yeah, I'm running the iPad 1... Will you get tomorrow's game? That might be a good test! I might have to go the online route, though it makes me wonder why I bought that PS3 last year at this time. Not that I haven't bought a played and bunch of games over the year...
  4. Has anyone called and tried to get the PS3 version for $250? Seems crazy that it's $50 more than the Online Only version... Are you guys sure that the app is AirPlay enabled? It would be pretty dumb if it weren't, but hey, I said the same thing about HBO Go!
  5. The Bills should roll around with a "Pop-up Convenience Store" - tailgaters can pick up that 12 pack they forgot to buy, matches, hotdogs, ice and any other tailgating essentials they may have forgotten at home... BOOM Money Makin'!
  6. McGee with another setback: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/McGee-suffers-setback/46de1488-67b0-454a-af2f-2e701072835 Bummer...
  7. I keep waiting for the PS3 version of Sunday Ticket to go live, but it hasn't and no one on the whole Internet seems to know what the deal is... Cost was the same as the DTV version (about $340), but totally worth it!
  8. I much prefer the nonsensical ramblings of several loudmouth malcontents...
  9. He's going to get himself killed this year with his multiple spin, run, spin, pump fake, roll to the right, spin move, run, get tackled, move that he seems to like to pull. Yes he saved a couple first downs, but eventually someone will have his head for all that dancing around... Sanchez moved the ball a little bit in the first quarter, but then stalled. Let's hope that his receivers continue to drop balls that hit them in the hands! Also, loved the Maybin sighting last night - free run at the QB in the end zone, but instead he winds up on the ground a victim of his own cut...
  10. This is my first time home with the app streaming to Apple TV - looks great... Let's Go Buffalo!
  11. Let's not let reality get in the way of a good nonsensical rant...
  12. 1. Because they play in the NFL where anything can, and probably will happen. Our LBs suck, unless they don't. Freddy is too old, unless he plays like he did last year. Fitz sucks, unless he regains his form from early season last year. Brady is god, unless he gets hurt. Who knows what's going to happen? Can't we at least try to enjoy the ride and maybe look at the one thing I know we all care deeply about - the Buffalo Bills - with a bit of optimism?
  13. Of all your posts, this one is the most confusing to me... So you say we started the season hot, then our production trailed off. I gotcha there, though you don't mention losing Freddy and Wood... But then you ask what's present this year that wasn't at the beginning of last. Even if it's the exact same O as the beginning of last year (and there are a couple adds), that squad was pretty darn good! Hopefully with a healthy O, we'll be able to get back on that early season track...
  14. This is the best post I've read on last nights game... And, thanks for the analysis Mike. While there is a lot to improve on, it certainly wasn't the bloodbath some are making it out to be!
  15. Call me when you're an NFL head coach. Just because you, someone who I'm assuming is not an NFL head coach, doesn't get what Chan and company are doing, doesn't mean it's wrong...
  16. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2011081352/2011/PRE1/bills@bears#menu=highlights&tab=recap Our dominating D is starting to show it's face with Lights Out getting his first two (of many) sacks! And here's the full 2011 preseason record, for those that care: http://www.nfl.com/teams/schedule?team=BUF&season=2011&seasonType=PRE Just a reminder that there's a lot more to come...
  17. Foooooor sure! I'm sure there is some odd, small fraction out there that thinks Mario sucks because he didn't have a sack last night...
  18. Really, the Bills aren't going all no-huddle with no running plays all season? Shocker...
  19. You do know this was addressed in the first post on the first page, right? Regardless, the app wouldn't work at all for me (it just kept crashing out) and even while watching the game on my computer I was signed out every 20 minutes. Pretty frustrating, but maybe it'll be like Sunday Ticket last year on the PS3 and we'll get a little refund! About to email NFL...
  20. For all of the nonsensical things that Bills fans are concerned with today, THIS was my biggest worry of the game! There is no excuse for blowing that call, heck there was a ref right next to the play! These replacement refs could be a real wildcard this season. Everyone hates the normal refs that actually have some NFL game day experience, what are people going to think of the replacements by the end of year...
  21. If the Bills were ever to get a new stadium (or, better yet, when they upgrade The Ralph) here are the few things I think we could use... - Bigger concourses; obviously this one is an issue and a big reason why they're trying to get funding for upgrades - Better concessions: Do what most other sports entities are doing and bring in the local culture! The Bills should have partnership deals with Mighty Taco, Ted's, Jim's Steak Out, Anchor Bar and others. No reason to have only crappy hot dogs at games... - Bathrooms: Less troughs and peeing in the sink, more urinals - More clarity on seating: Unless you know how the seats are numbered (1 - 30), its difficult for a first timer to enter since you can get to, say, section 300 from both the right and the left; this is a minor thing, but simple enough to fix... - Big screen on the tunnel side: 'Nuff said - WiFi: In today's stat / fantasy crazy world, this would be big for fans IMO we don't need a full-on new stadium, just a few upgrades and the Ralph could be even better (I won't say "one of the best" since it already is)!
  22. I'm wondering the same question - who's his main guy on the sideline? For some reason the new Bills website makes it hard to look at the staff (plus it's super hard to find on the homepage - go look). The old site used to have a nice typical "Organization Chart" with the hierarchy and pictures. Now it's just a list... Here's the direct link: http://www.buffalobills.com/about-us/front-office.html Guess we'll know the answer in less than 24!
  23. First we're going to take Tonawanda - then North Tonawanda - then the sky is the limit! I would think with "Wildcat Guru" David Lee on staff (and, um, the players we have) we'll be able to prep for Tebow, the Wildcat and whatever else Rex may come up with..
  24. Rex must have been motivation - on Sirius today Pat and Tim said that Smith was in for one rep at QB during practice and he threw a 50 yard bomb completion! 1/1 - 50yrds 0INT 1TD 158.3 QB Rating; Take that Tebow! Too funny...
  25. jboyst62, I know you're typing fast, but a couple clarifications in caps for those reading the thread: Again, great recap - not sure how you typed it all so fast! Also, FWIW, I just got Kirwan's book and I'm loving it so far, I'm definitely learning more about football! Highly recommended...
