  1. Another referral: http://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/raf/FRWXXRU4APFA So strange, I went to use your code Big Cat, but when I logged into my NFL.com account it said I already bought it on 8/1. I don't see it on any CC statement yet, but I think they just autobilled me or something...
  2. Selective reading. He hasn't "stunk everyday in practice", by all accounts he's had some ups and downs. Read the Buffalo medias twitter and you'll think he only misses guys and throws pics, listen to John Murphy call practice live and it's a whole different ballgame. But if you're going to give up on the season already, can you also give up on TBD?
  3. I think the difference in those two groups is those that want to move on from EJ after one half-season are saying this based on their PREDICTION of the future. Those that want to wait (until at least after this year, don't see anyone saying give him 4 years) before moving on from EJ are willing to base their opinion on how the future ACTUALLY PLAYS OUT. Put me in the second camp... Also, pretty funny the responses without actually reading the original post!
  4. This could be my favorite quote of all the quotables in all of the team sale threads
  5. Better yet, let's hope it DOES work out and we get next years!
  6. This from today's twitter, by a civilian (non-media): "@XXX Ive been biggest EJ supporter from day 1. At what point does JT get a chance with first team. I say against Carolina. Scare EJ a bit. " %reasonstohatetwitter
  7. Dude, they stuck it to us! We're now like 5 games out of first place!!!
  8. One more note on this - each week of preseason, the price goes down. So if you can't watch this weeks game, wait a week before you buy and save a few more bucks...
  9. The real question is can El Pegs can buy both the Bills AND the publishing rights to all of Bon Jovi's music (which he will then lock into a vault in the new Ralph Wilson Stadium in downtown Buffalo)?
  10. What!? Does this mean we can't hate on him anymore? Or just that he's no longer upset that Nassib "stuck it to them" o_O
  11. Thank you! Holy, I feel like I want to cut and paste this into every thread about the sale to stop the "Mary Wilson is greedy, she should call Pegs and end this!" It doesn't work that way and never will. It's a billion dollar plus transaction, there's going to a lot of DD happening which takes time, this isn't a Craigslist transaction...
  12. Since we've got a 4 page thread on Marrone's presser attitude, but no link to the presser itself, thought I'd add that: http://www.buffalobi...anshare:twitter Did most in this thread even watch this? Personally I thought it was funny - obviously Marrone doesn't want to say anything about anyone (maybe he likes that we're flying under the radar?), but he was smiling and even laughing while on the mic. Hardly him being a jerk...
  13. Doesn't really matter to Marrone, he can't coach both the Bills and the Sabres because they're in the same town. Loved the Woods question - something like "people were surprised he played into the third quarter, why was that?" Marrone: "Because he was supposed to play in the third quarter"
  14. Anyone watch the debut tonight? Good stuff as always - it'll be interesting to see how their focus on toughness serves them... I would love the see the behind the scenes with the Bills!
  15. Pretty thorough article in the Toronto Sun: http://www.torontosun.com/2014/08/05/toronto-group-bidding-on-bills-allowed-to-submit-higher-first-bid Of note: "Bon Jovi would be principal owner. Constituted in that manner, sources have told QMI Agency the group cannot come close to matching even the reported initial bid of $1.3 billion submitted last week by Pegula, the cash-flush oil-and-gas multi-billionaire who already owns the NHL's Buffalo Sabres. Two QMI Agency sources said Pegula indeed bid about $1.3 billion." And "While some reports last week said the Bon Jovi/Toronto group had bid $1.2 billion, the amount was considerably less, perhaps under $900 million. Their ultimate bid limit is believed to be somewhere approaching $1.2 billion."
  16. And the terse Marrone presser: http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Doug-Marrone-Tuesday-Press-Conference/75c90066-de9f-4972-9fba-21bcde001074?campaign=buf:fanshare:twitter Maybe it was just me, but I thought it was funny!
  17. There were at least a few. Definitely some scrambles and sacks in there too though... Hopefully that's just a TC thing, that can't happen during the season - I mean, they HAVE to know. Maybe a test for the O? Kelso said EJ still on the field throwing, Sammy out working after a long practice. Nice to hear...
  18. Kirby believes the eventually owner will keep the team here, not that it will be Bon Jovi. As for the second question, have you even read this thread? The links on this page?
  19. Go read the 55 page thread on the same subject and you'll find KJ's background... Now, does anyone know if the bidder also has to bid on the Sabres because they're in the same town? Or something.
  20. And the problem with Twitter, Sal's tweets lead to this from some rando: @Number1Bills: @salmaiorana I think there's a hidden rift developing in the #Bills front office that no one is talking about yet. It's just a feeling That'll probably get retweeted, then tomorrow we'll have to see a thread on it. A hidden rift, there you have it Bills fans...
  21. FWIW, Murph and Kelso are live at camp - Kelso said he watched the tape and is going to talk about some strong performances from the HOF game.
  22. But, but, but, doesn't someone have to *catch* the ball? I mean that shot to Williams in the EZ was RIGHT where it had to be - hard to fault EJ on that one. Heck its hard to fault Williams, the defender grabbed his arm, it didn't get called, we didn't score a TD in a pre-season game. Such is life. Doesn't mean EJ wasn't in command of the offense.
