  1. Oh boy, can't wait to hear the media's take on today's presser! @NICK_WKBW #Bills HC Doug Marrone answers reporter cell phone that was on podium and rang during post prax presser. pic.twitter.com/KXsx8n9tPB
  2. How am I supposed to know if we're Dooooomed or going to the Super Bowl!?!?
  3. Again, watch the entire presser - he went into much more detail. From here: http://www.sportsxchange.com/tsxfiles/?page_id=211&max_colums=20&story_id=86355 "Ribs are a funny thing. They really are," Marrone said. "You can practice the next day sometimes. You can come back into a game. Sometimes on the x-ray it shows that it's a crack. Sometimes it shows that it's not and then you take a better x-ray and there is a crack. Sometimes, depending on the player, you can be out two weeks, four weeks, six weeks or two months. I'm not going to get into that stuff this year." "I'll be ready to practice without him. When he comes back he will be ready to go," Marrone said. "I don't think one person is going to make or break. We have to continue to move on. I'm excited about the guys we will have out there. He's not out there, and when he comes back, I don't know." He's really being a jerk!
  4. @john_wawrow In same #Bills Watkins injury story: Agent Tory Dandy also says Watkins is fine, and could have returned during game Saturday.
  5. After listening to the full interview the criticism seems even crazier. He went on and on explaining that ribs are a funny thing and you never know, etc. Next man up (for now). And fwiw, I think it's a good sign that Sammy is on the sidelines riding a bike. I cracked a rib a couple years ago - I couldn't even lay down for a couple weeks. Hopefully that bruise isn't too bad...
  6. He is now off to buy the Barcelona Dragons and move them to Toronto with Jon Bon just to spite the Bills. Way to go Marrone!
  7. lol - my favorite post of the thread... Jokes aside, nice to see EJ willing to give back! Here's to hime donating a LOT
  8. For the record, the premise of this thread is that our *preseason* play calling is bad? I'm more of a "wait till we have our regular season personnel and game plan for opponents before freaking out" kinda guy...
  9. This. If he was any good, he would have won at least two Super Bowls already this season!
  10. This post needs more speculation... Predicting doom for both the O and the D after just a few preseason games (where were obviously not game planning or running our full systems or even starting lineups) seems a little silly to me, but to each his own.
  11. Or we could wait till the season at least starts, but that's not as much fun when the pitchforks are sharpened in July these days...
  12. Thank goodness I watched this one w a former big program college player and NFLN alum, the overreaction to the preseason is beyond beyond these days. I got a nice perspective on the game, players, preseason and football in general. Regardless, let thine freaking out commence, Voodoo calls my name in the am...
  13. Oddly I've had the same thought as Wood on occassion while reading TBD: "I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Soulja Boy"
  14. So do we love EJ or hate him? I'm so confused, I'm almost happy I'm sitting in a meeting...
  15. Love it, we would still have fans yelling "He's staring down EVERY receiver! And defender!" WWEJD.
  16. Nice little recap - again, different source, different perspective... Liked to hear that the 2s played well, I'm liking our depth this season (so far).
  17. lol - yup. Good article though, funny the different perspectives from different sources...
  18. *I* hear he's going to wear the helmet WITH the tinted visor all game, even on the sidelines to further isolate himself. What I don't get is why Hackett keeps pumping Morressey through the QB communications system... This is now your criticism of EJ? His tie choice? His pink tie choice?? Kudos to you for forever dreaming up new ways to dump on EJ. Answer to the original question - crazy lizard eyes visor as previously stated in some other thread.
  19. Mike Williams said he feels good about what the O did today. EJ looked confident (how could he see through the visor!?). New team, new reps, new guys...
  20. Interesting - CB says EJ looked good at the end of practice, was working the middle of the field (TE and seam routes) well as Pittsburgh was shutting down the outside. Also said EJ missed some passes earlier (low, a couple off the mark), but was decisive in his reads and throws... fwiw.
